Hisashi Midoriya was tapping his leg nervously, being stared down by fierce red eyes from his former lover's ex-best friend. He didn't blame Mitsuki one bit, after 15 years of being incarcerated for 'raping' Inko, she believed her lies until the bitch was revealed for who she really was. Now, after being exonerated...he contacted the MCPS and spoke to Ophelia who was working on Izuku's case, and asked for Izuku's guardian's number. He was honestly not surprised it was the Bakugou Matriarch who decided to adopt the green bean, she was more open to quirk equality.

"So," Hisashi flinched when she barely whispered that. "I received word from Ophelia that you had asked her for my number and Izuku's location." She internally smirked as she saw him squirm. "She also told me that your charges had been cleared after that Whale revoked her claim of you assaulting her."

Hisashi flinched and growled at the false accusations that prevented him from being with his son. "Inko was the one who drugged me in hopes she would bear a child with a dominant quirk. I am appalled that when she discovered I was Quirkless despite my heritage she abused and sold my son to services." He slammed his fist on the table, his stomach boiling at the injustice of his son. Mitsuku just stared at him with impassive eyes, internally feeling for the man who she too thought raped her ex-friend until she became suspicious of her claims. He and Izuku lost so many memories and if he was still around maybe Izuku would have had a better upbringing. She heard him sigh as he reigned his anger. "In my family, powerful flame quirks don't manifest until the age of 8 due to its connection to impulse in the Prefrontal Cortex, and around that age they begin to learn to control that impulse. However, on rare occasions, it can be triggered by survival." He looked down at his hands and clenched them. "I wonder what prevented Izuku from unlocking his quirk sooner?"

"Izuku's quirk has been active, apparently," Mitsuki replied, surprising Hisashi with the information. "His flames were not activated, but his healing was. Despite the serious injuries and infections he had received, his healing aspect kept him alive and disease-free. It was hindered by the physical and psychological abuse as well as lack of nutrition. His flames did not appear until he...was crushed by a wall slab."

"I did hear that Izuku had revived after that, still breaks my heart that he had suffered so much." Hisashi scratched his hair back in frustration. "How is he mentally?"

"Izuku still has struggles with accepting who he is and trusting a few people, not surprising after what that bitch did. We are trying to help him open up to us about his fears and concerns, we are progressing but Masaru and I know he is keeping some secrets. I think he only trusts Katsuki with some, however, it has only been over a year. Therapy isn't magic."

"Yeah, I know. I am glad he has you to take care of him, Mitsuki. You are a big-hearted woman."

"Yeh, flattery will get you nowhere, String Bean. Which reminds me...you are pretty scrawny, if it is okay with Izuku we will feed ya and have you sleep on the couch. It will depend if Izuku wants to talk or be near you. He had never spoken about you much, then again...he never knew you."

"That is why I want to meet him now, at least let him know I am his father and came to see him to see how he is faring. He can yell and punch me all he wants, but I just want to let him know I never really abandoned him. I can't take him because my parenting rights are still revoked until it has been fixed, which would take years and frankly I don't want to uproot him from you and your family. I may be exonerated, but I am still technically jobless and homeless. I do have a temporary place with my brother and his children until I get back on my feet but their dojo is small. What can I do if I can't afford to take care of my son?"

"Being transient is not a good place to be, especially you who is Quirkless. Even temporary living will have risks." Mitsuki said, thinking a bit about what she could do. "We will have to see when you and Izuku talk. If he doesn't want to be near you at this time you will have to respect that."
