The bell has sounded now indicating the heroes, Shoji and Sero, to head inside the building and locate the bomb. Both had to be wary as they seemed to be at a slight disadvantage. Sero was especially nervous with Izuku, his Quirk can easily burn and if the verdanette decides to heat the room he will develop hyperthermia and which will result in his tapes becoming brittle.
Shoji seems to be more at an advantage with his Dupli-Arms and build. He can summon eyes and ears at the ends of his arms, increasing the location range. He is also more of a heavy hitter which may put him at a disadvantage since the two classmates seem more agile. The white-haired teen can make up for it with his Quirk, if he misses he can extend or duplicate his arms to grab his opponent and bring them back to him.
The next issue is Kaminari, both are vulnerable to his electricity, and they need to make sure neither of them can contact him directly or stay out of range. That is one of the pieces of information they don't have, his range of power.
"Sero-san, do you have any information on Kaminari?" Shoji asked his current partner, who in turn was looking up in thought.
"No, I am as much in the dark as you. I know he can still 'see' us with his electrolocation which is amazing itself, and I have seen him use his electricity to power up his phones and electronics. Like seriously, I have never seen his laptop die ever, and he never brings his charger." Sero chuckled, then snapped his fingers. "I do remember him saying that he can get overloaded by surges. Maybe we can find a power box and fry it somehow?"
Shoji nodded and moved his limbs in different directions, trying to locate the 'villains'. "We could do the same with finding a water source too, but I don't think it would be safe for Midoriya-Bakugou-san."
Sero looked slightly confused. "What makes you say that, man?"
Shoji tilted his head a bit when he heard some movement a couple of floors up. "Did you notice his uniform?" Sero just shook his head and the masked teen sighed. "He is wearing a type of wetsuit, and from the type of fabric it is made of it is designed to keep his core stable."
The violette's eyes widened as he got the information. "Which means, water is dangerous to him, increasing the risk of hypothermia?" His partner nodded and started to walk forward toward the stairs. "We need to be cautious, they are above us but I can't pinpoint their location. I hear at least 20-30 different movements several floors above. My guess Midoriya-Bakugou-san created diversions. How smart is he?"
"Who knows?"
Sero suddenly jumped at the disembodied voice and Shoji went on the defensive, trying to pinpoint where Izuku's voice was coming from. It was vibrating all over the walls, so it was practically impossible to pinpoint his exact location.
"Sometimes when it comes to strategy you have to be impractical, especially if you don't know how the villain thinks. The obvious approach may not be obvious at all."
"He is using the speakers." Shoji said suddenly as he found a megaphone on the corner just before the steps. "He is either in the main room or Kaminari hotwired it for them to use it."
Sero nodded and suddenly looked to his right, and upon instinct, he shot his tape on something orange. At first, it did a squeak or hiss as it was surrounded by the ball of tape, then it started to sizzle and burn before all was left was smoke.
"What the hell was that!?" Sero yelled, unnerved that his tape was smelling like burnt plastic. Izuku already knows his weakness after the transparency talk and exam. He is almost a borderline genius!
"That was a rabbit made out of fire, so that is how he is blocking me. He created multiple fire creatures." Shoji explained before going into his martial arts stance a roar was heard and a large fire bear ran down the stairs and lunged at him.
