Chef in Despair

The first part of Izuku's testing started off fairly well. The moment a cut is made, green flames heal it in less than a second. Deeper cuts where the muscle was showing took a few more seconds, indicating it had a lot of potential.

Burnin' wanted to see the limitations of this healing, but breaking bones and cutting arteries is restricted due to the boy's condition. Thankfully, she is glad that she doesn't have to do something that gruesome.

"Your Quirk is amazing, kid. It heals minor cuts and tears in literally seconds, which could mean that your bones and other important organs would heal just as fast or within the day depending on the severity." The limette said with a smile. She had never seen a recovery flame before, 99% of the time fire just burns. The kid has potential.

"Thank you Burnin'." Izuku replied and she noticed he sounded a little slurred. The Heroine looked at him curiously.

"You alright, kiddo?" Burnin' asked. Noting down that this may be a side effect. "What are you feeling?"

"I am tired and very hungry." He replied and not even a second later the verdanette's stomach growled in a massive protest. The teen chuckled.

"Ok, thanks to that info your healing does require some 'fuel' to function, how many calories do you eat a day roughly?"

"Now that you mentioned it, I do eat more than normal. I originally thought it was because my body needed the nutrients due to my malnutrition. I am constantly hungry unless the food is calorie rich." Izuku thought and his stomach roared again, this time with hunger pains. "I need to eat, I hate feeling this hungry."

Burnin' nodded in understanding and took the verdanette to their kitchen, not knowing that in a few minutes, the chef would cry in mercy.

Ophelia was watching behind the training area where Shoto Todoroki and her daughter were training. She has asked the dual-haired teen to take it easy at first to test Eevee's stamina and then work from there. He agreed with a cold demeanor as usual but did not go against her wishes.

After a few rounds, she did not need to worry as once her daughter got into the rhythm of her Eevi-Morphs they were sparring just like normal as they did before the incident. That made the serpentine happy.

What didn't make her happy was that the heterochromatic was grouchier than usual and subtly warned her that Endeavor would try something regarding her daughter. She did not need to hear the word directly, as she knew exactly what he had meant.

Quirk Marriage.

Apparently, Eevee's Quirk is so adaptable enough that he believes that she would bear a powerful child in his monarchy. Fuck that.

One: Quirk Marriage is illegal and doing so would result in jail time and/or a massive fine. Two: Eevee is her and Murdock's daughter, who are both powerful influencers in the legal system. Even in a normal court, Murdok alone brings fear. The third: Eevee is pretty much taken.

She did not need to ask to know that her daughter has a crush on the Explosive blonde and he couldn't say no to her in the week he had spent the nights. They are a cute couple.

"Shoto-kun, one more blast!"

The serpentine looked down as the boy smashed his right foot on the ground and a wave of ice launched at her daughter in different shapes of spikes. Eevee activated her Flame Fox Mode and jumped on the spikes with such nimble ease, launching herself high on the closest spike and breathing a flamethrower from her mouth toward Shoto.

The boy then responded by moving his right hand and creating a massive ice sphere surrounding himself before the flamethrower reached him. They were like this for a few seconds until Eevee stopped the flame and transformed back into her Base Forme, panting as she ran out of fuel.

"Ok, E-Eevee's done."

The remaining ice surrounding the heterochromatic then melted away, showing the boy panting as well. The fact that an elemental mutant is keeping up with him is infuriating, but it does somewhat ground him that there will be someone better.

"You have gotten more strategic, Eevee. How were you able to jump on the spikes like that while they were still forming? They would have still frozen you on the spot." Ophelia asked as the duo were walking out of the training room.

Eevee just smiled. "Leidenfrost Effect."

Shoto looked at her curiously. "Leidenfrost Effect?"

The bushy-tailed teen nodded. "Since Eevee worked up a sweat, Eevee used the moisture on my paws and superheated them creating a wall of vapor around them. It is actually like hoverboarding. It is also the same effect you use for you to move on a layer of ice."

Shoto snorted, amused that the girl would eye his style and make it her own. "That is some tactic." He said eventually, then he heard the Eevette's stomach grumble. His has roared too. "Let's get something to eat."

"Sure." Eevee replied with her tail wagging. Ophelia giggled and slithered behind them, on the way to the kitchen where a show is making its debut.

"Please! I beg of you, have mercy!!"

The cook was going berserk as his current customer was eating his 5th whole pizza pie, a meatball pasta, and several pumpkin pies.

"I-I'm sorry, but I am so hungry!!" Izuku replied while still eating, he felt bad for the chef but he couldn't help it, his body needed food.

"Izuku, don't worry, he's fine. S'not like he hasn't done a rush before. He'll live." Burnin' said with her hand on his shoulder while giving the guy her signature glare. He gulped and went back to work. "You aren't the only one that requires food after testing or a workout. Firebush requires calories too. Which reminds me...Brian!!! Eevee and Ophuchi are here too, make sure you make plenty!!!"

The only response the chef made was tears of despair.

"Looks like we missed the party." Ophelia said suddenly from behind the verdanette, causing him to jump and briefly choke on a muffin. One thwack from her tail dislodged it. "How was the testing?"

"We did the minor part of the healing test before the fella got hungry. It means it requires food that is carb or calorie rich." Burnin' looked at him with a smile and took a sip of her fire drink. "You got a couple of hungry kids, I love their appetites."

Ophelia laughed while Shoto looked at the scene in calm shock and Eevee just went to the table and called out to the chef. "Brian-san, Eevee's hungry!"

Another cry of despair.

"Vee?" The Eevette tilted her head in confusion at the noise, while the other chefs brought her and Shoto tacos, curry, cold sobas, and muffins. The guy demanded a week off and was glad that they honored his wishes.
