"What took you so long?" Suhana sounded annoyed as Ayaan entered the room.

Shona was sleeping peacefully in her bed. Ayaan frowned, staring at Suhana with a questioning gaze. "You said she wanted to meet me."

"Yes, she was getting out of control, so I had to inject her." Suhana eyed the object in her hand. "But I don't understand... why, rather than getting afraid of you, she cared about your presence." She shook her head as Ayaan kept moving toward the unconscious figure. "Hadn't you told me that your brother wanted to play with her feelings and he was after her just for fun?"

"That is what I am trying to discover. A few days before this incident, he was a mess, a complete mess but I never paid attention to him. He was always like that a mess. I considered that he had ended up in another trap and I was determined not to help him out. My guidance was further leading him into a dangerous pit. I heard his argument it was related to Shona," his orbs connecting back with the peaceful soul. "He was arguing with her family member. They wanted Karthik's help to get rid of her. They wanted something from her, something... that was the reason they wanted Karthik in their plan and Karthik was finally realizing that he wasn't playing the game but they were playing him."

"You mean to say that her family wanted something from her?" Suhana sounded curious as if she hadn't thought about the option.

"Or why would a caring mother trust a playboy like Karthik? She hardly knew him." Ayaan muttered, "all those months I thought Shona harmed him in defense but maybe I missed a crucial point. I never thought of their plan backfiring. Maybe my stupid brother had finally realized his mistake and wanted to cover it up and for that, he put himself in the trouble. He died for her..." Ayaan's orbs were blank but Suhana could feel the emotions he was going through. "My brother finally discovered that he had a heart..." Ayaan's orbs were fixed on the sleeping soul, and Suhana's orbs were discovering something that her heart didn't want to believe.

"And maybe she is going to do the same with you." Suhana had a sad smile, she was happy for him but sad for herself.
