~LETTER~
Dear Soulmate,
I had lived my past year with guilt that I was the reason behind Karthik losing his life. If he hadn't backed from the plan, he would be alive and maybe I would have left this world. It might have been better. I might have never discovered the truth. I might have believed in Amma's lie of me dying on my twenty-two birthday.
Maybe I would have escaped from the pain I feel when I think about their second attempt to kill me. They had put the entire blame on Karthik, claiming he was after my life and the way Amma faked her happiness on seeing me alive still pierce my heart into pieces. And like a fool I always believed them.
I never got an opportunity to write to you and I had mostly given up on you until I saw the letter today placed on the table. Maybe they found those letters along with me.
I hope Ayaan, Karthik's brother will soon heal from his wounds.
