"I don't want to be a burden on him," Shona argued as Suhana was detaching the machine from her body. Suhana shook her head, glancing at Shona's displeased features.

"I can't keep you any longer in the hospital. And you won't be a burden to him. That luxurious building will seem like a home if you stayed there." She attempted to convince her. And Suhana wasn't lying, Shona's presence could bring life to the lifeless mansion that Ayaan labelled as home.

"He doesn't like my presence," she muttered those words lowering her head. Ayaan hadn't mentioned a word to her after the incident. After she had accused him of stealing her letters.

"If he disliked your presence, he might not have been reading your letters." Suhana reasoned it out and Shona was left with no valid argument for it.

"Then why he ignores me like a plague?" She couldn't hide the overbearing emotions she felt. That night when he had confessed that he liked reading her blabbers for once in her life she felt that she had got a friend, a real friend. Someone with whom she won't have to hide herself but his aloof behavior was making her question herself.

Suhana raised Shona's chin so she could feel the sincerity of her words. "He had faced a lot in his life." Suhana expressed it so softly as she wanted Shona to understand the seriousness of the situation. "He had lost many people in his life," Shona kept staring at her with concern. "He acts as if he no longer holds a heart." Suhana expressed making Shona to frown.

"How could someone believe that they don't process a heart?" She shook her head at the insane thought. "Everyone has a heart no matter how cruel they act."

"Exactly! That's what you have to make him realize during your stay at the mansion." Shona grinned at the thought.
