ZOE
Gods, I hate the wetlands. These were the marshes where humans cross, and we couldn't go 20 feet without getting attacked by weird six-legged crocodilians, or these weird little fish people with shiny skin that made some weird noise when they charged. It sounded like "Rwlrwlrwlrwl. (A/N Good luck trying to imagine what that fuckin sounds like.)
It was a disturbing noise.
"Thinking about someone?" Shandris asked with a sultry tone.
"No, thinking about getting out of this gods forsaken marshland. It's awful," I grumbled.
"We need to be careful when we approach Dun Algaz. Dragonmaw Orcs overran the outpost during the 2nd war, causing the Mountaineers to abandon it, and now it's dangerous to travel between Loch Modan and the Wetlands," She said.
We walked for a few minutes in silence. I was getting really annoyed with her, constantly bringing up Percy, so I had an idea. I cracked a wide grin as I inquired, "So, Shandris, you've taken an interest in my love life. What about yours? Do you have any mates yourself?" Her cheeks flushed purple.
"Uh- There was- I had sort of a romantic interest in a great warrior, but he is married. They've been mates for several millennia."
Well, that backfired. It just made feel worse. "I'm sorry I brought it up. It's just that you keep bringing up Percy, and it's starting to really get to me."
"I am sorry, Zoe. If you don't mind me asking, will you tell me more about the boy you're looking for?" The night elf asked.
I blushed as I began to describe him, "Well, he's unlike any other b- man," I caught myself, "I've ever met. I've never met someone as selfless, brave, and loyal as him. He definitely challenged what I believed for years. It's frustrating, actually, how he's an oblivious idiot, but he is loyal to a fault. He has this aura to him, and you can't help but want to follow him." I stopped because I was rambling and turned my gaze to my new friend. She just held my stare with a smile.
"Why don't you go get him if he's that special?"
"I don't know- I mean- he had a lover before me, but she's not able to see him anymore."
She had a blank stair and she laughed. "So, you're here now. She isn't. Trust me, my young friend, take the chance when you see it." She put a reassuring hand on my shoulder.
We made our way through the tunnel just on the outskirts of Dun Algaz station.
'I'm coming, Perseus,' I thought, a small smile breaking at the corner of my lips.

PERCY
We finally made it to Loch Modan, and we're at Stormpikes outpost. Our delivery had been completed. Before we were about to leave to head back to Thelsamar to rest before the journey back, Stormpike wanted a word with Dominic. We waited outside the outpost for them.
"What do you think they are talking about, Desmond?" I asked. The priest turned around, and he didn't have a happy look. "Ugh, I don't really care. I just wanna go to the inn and bathe. I feel filthy. Maybe even drink some wine."
Aurelius smiled. "Oh come on, Des, this is so cool. We're actually adventuring now! We almost have a full party. One more member and we are set to go wherever our hearts desire."
He then looked at me and smirked. "Well, as soon as we find Percy's girlfriend, that is." I glared at him and he just laughed.
"Yes, that's great, adventure and what-not, but I'm not an uncivilized savage such as yourself, Aurelius." Desmond rolled his eyes, just for his friend to put his hand over his heart in mock hurt. Aurelius dug in his pouch and pulled out a a flask and took a swig. "Ahhhh. Refreshing."
"Are you seriously drinking right now, Aurelius? Can you say the alphabet backwards?" He asked angrily.
"I could whip your ass backwards," He said with all seriousness.
I sighed, "What have I gotten myself into? Aurelius, stop drinking. Desmond, as soon as Dominic gets back, we will make our way to the nearest Inn."
We stood in silence for a bit longer until Dominic came out of the small stone tower.
"Oi, laddies, ye all wan'te make some good coin? We will hev more 'an enough tae take a flight path back tae Stormwind." He presented.
Desmond wasn't too happy. Aurelius would say yes to anything for the right price, so he was already in. I was curios, though. "Doing what?"
"Killing th'orcs 'at took over Dun Algaz Station. Tis a dangerous quest, but th'reward is very enticin'." He pointed to a tunnel that ran through the mountain, just north of us. "Just oan th'other side o' 'at' tunnel, Stormpike's scout said 'ere are aboot fifteen."
I nodded, Desmond sighed, and Aurelius was amped up.
"Now, fightin' Orcs issa lot different, lads. They aren't like th'beasts we've fought oan our way 'ere. They'se a powerful foe. Fast, n'all, an' ye need tae fight smarter. Ye can't beat an orc with raw power." He spoke in a serious tone. There was a huge change in the dwarves demeanor; he wasn't the jovial dwarf who would dance and sing. His eyes held a completely different look in them- that thousand yard stare- and he wasn't looking at us; he was looking through us. There was a lot more to this Dwarf than we knew, especially with the horrors of war that followed this paladin like his own shadow. I know that feeling all too well, and it was one that Desmond and Aurelius hadn't experienced. One that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Seeing your friends die in front of you, haunted everyday by 'What ifs?', words you'd never get to say conversations that you'll never be able to have. Followed with seeing them every night in your dreams. 'But, I finally have a second chance with a friend I lost, and I don't intend on losing her again.' I clenched my fist.
"Hey, buddy, you alright? We are ready to go if you are." Aurelius said. " Yeah, I'm fine." I lied easily. He cocked an eyebrow, knowing I wasn't being truthful. He just shook his head, shrugged his shoulders, and walked into the tunnel to Algaz station.
