Third POV
The Olympian council had the 6 of the 7, Nico, Reyna and Thalia present on mount Olympus during the aftermath of the battle. This was supposed to be a time for celebration, but the loss of Percy Jackson was so heavy that it outweighed their victory.
The room was silent for a while until it was broken by the Daughter of Athena.
"I can't believe he's really gone."
Thalia was by her side, one arm draped around her shoulder. Nico, the son of hades, said, "I don't get it, though. I didn't feel him die. It's like he just disappeared."
"Well, that's because he's not dead."
A women with a galaxy dress and the sun for eyes stepped out of a portal of stars. The Olympians, uneasy after the battle, brandished their weapons.
"Easy there, I bear no ill will towards you. After all, I created everything," she said.
"Lady Chaos," Athena gasped.
"Yes, but that is not why I am here. This is regarding Percy."
Annabeth ran up to her and shouted, "Where is he?!" Tears ran down her face.
"I am sorry child, but when you all banished Gaia, Percy was also banished into the void. He could not return, so I had to send him to another Universe. He will be safe there. He won't be hunted as a demigod anymore, but you will never be able to see him again."
"No! He promised he wouldn't leave," Annabeth sobbed, falling to her knees. "We were supposed to have a future together! We went through Tartarus. He promised."
Chaos grabbed the sobbing girl and embraced her. "I'm sorry, child. It was out of my control. I did what I could, and he deserved better than to float in the void for the rest of eternity, with no hope for Elysium."
"Before I sent him though, I gave him one wish. He could bring someone with him who has passed to the world I sent him too. He couldn't take anything with him, so he gave his sword back to its original owner." Artemis gasped at this. "Yes, moon goddess. Zoe Nightshade is on that world with Percy."
Annabeth had a crestfallen look on her face. After everything they went through, he is now out of her reach forever.
"I can open a brief trans-dimensional screen to show you that he is okay." Chaos waved her hand and a star-like portal opened up.
It showed Percy walking out of a city carved into a mountain. It showed him being accompanied by a short man with a long braided black beard with short hair, a two-handed hammer, and pure white plate armor. Among them were two boys; one with a sword and shield with long hair, and the other with short hair in robes carrying a staff. The long-haired boy was singing with the short man. "There will come a soldier/ Who carries a mighty sword/ He will tear your city down/ oh lei oh lai oh Lord/ Oh lei, oh lai, oh lei, oh Lord/ He will tear your city down/ oh lei oh lai oh Lord"
