Lucas opens the door to see his friend Mike, which he looks annoyed well mike always dose but he looks more annoyed then usual
"May I help you were not going to max still 8, mike it's 4" Lucas sighs
"Hi to you to" mike rolls his eyes
"Sorry, hi Mikey wikey" Lucas says sarcastically in a high pitch tone with a sarcastic smile and mike gives Lucas a sarcastic annoyed smile back
"What up?" Lucas sighs and mike walks inside and plops down on Lucas couch
"Come in I guess" Lucas mutters
"Can we go to the mall?" Mike asks
"Why?" Lucas asks sitting next to mike
"Well I need to get a gift for someone" mike mumbles
"Will?" Lucas asks and mike nods
"Why" Lucas asks furrowing his eyebrows
"Well he got me four gifts for Christmas, Lucas he got me a fucking Walkman that cost like 80 fucking dollars" mike says
"Damn! Do you got money like that to buy him something like that?" Lucas asks and mike frowns and shakes his head
"No... I wish I barley have $20" mike mumbles
"I mean 20 can do bu- do you know we can do it" mike asks pointing at Lucas
"I mean what dose he like?" Lucas shrugs
"The same shit, DnD, music, art, and just the same shit from when we were kids" mike shrugs and Lucas face brightens
"Ooo I know what we can get him!" Lucas exclaims
"What?" Mike asks
"Mike come on let's just go" Lucas scoffs pulling mikes arm

6pm
"Ok this is the cheapest craft store in the mall" Lucas sighs walking into 'crazy art'
"This is where I got his gift.." mike trails off
"What gift?" Lucas ask
"Well remembering told you I bought a gift for Will because I was going to- well you know, and I got his art supplies here" mike mumbles with his voice slightly cracking
"So this store is a bust? Is there anything else we need to get him from here" Lucas suggest and mike sighs and shakes his head but then soon after his face brighten up
"I know what to get him" mike beems
"What?!" Lucas asks
"Let's go to the book store" mike explains running out of the store leaving Lucas alone
"Mike wait!! WHY THE BOOK STORE" Lucas yells still standing alone but he follows mike

"Mike why the hell would you get Will a book, a BOOK no one wants a book" Lucas scoffs while walking to a shelf full of books
"Will does, do you not remember he loves reading! And when we were um- we'll you know he wouldn't stop talking about this one book he wants" mike explains rummaging through the shelf's
"What book?" Lucas asks
"'Playing the odds" Mike mutters still rummaging through the shelf
"Found it!!" Mike yells pulling out a tanish hardcover book
"Hell yeah it's hard cover he love's hardcover" Mike smiles holding the book infront of Lucas face and Lucas screws his face
