Will, Mike,el and Jonathan are in the kitchen eating breakfast, Joyce left for work already so it's just the 4 of them
"When's your mom coming to get you mike?" Jonathan asks before taking a bite of his pancake
"Um.. I'm going to ride my bike home" mike mumbles grabbing his glass filled of orange juice
"Oh what time are you going home?" Jonathan asks
"don't know whenever.." mike mumbles taking a sip of his juice
"Jonathan why are you asking him when he's leaving are you really that desperate to make him leave" Will laughs then he looks over at his friend who is messing with his food obviously uncomfortable
"No no I'm just u-um trying to start a conversation I guess" Jonathan shrugs
"Sorry mike if I made you uncomfortable or anything" Jonathan adds
"No u-um it's ok" mike mutters picking on his food
"Are you not going to eat?" El asks and mike sighs
"I'm not really hungry" mike shrugs and he feels another hand grab his own from under the table and he looks up at Will who is not looking at him he's just holding mikes hand
"Y'all are attacking mike I swear" Will sighs and he feels mike squeezing his hand
"sorry.." el whispers
"It's ok El" will says
"We'll I'm done with my food I got to get to work just wash y'all's own dish and call me if y'all need anything" Jonathan sighs grabbing his keys and leaving the house
"Are you done?" Will asks Mike
"Yeah well I'm not done I haven't even eaten anything.." Mike sighs
"It's fine, let's just wash our plates then we can head
to my room ok?" Will smiles and mike nods
"ok" mike smiles
...
"Mike the suns already setting I think you should leave before you get in-troubled" Will laughs as the two boys are sitting on the floor
"Damn you just want me to leave don't you?" Mike laughs
"I don't I just don't want you to get in-trouble or anything" will says
"Fine I'll leave" mike sighs standing up and will as well stands up
Mike gets his stuff and walks to the front door and will follows mike walking him out, before mike picks up his mike he turns over to the smaller brunette and smiles at him
"See you tomorrow?" Mike sighs and will nods
"Bye, see you tomorrow" Will smiles hugging mike
Mike pulls away from the hug and he bends down slightly so he can reach wills height and mike lightly pecks wills lips
"Bye will" mike smiles getting on his bike
"Bye mike" Will smiles back and mike pedals his bike leaving wills house
...
Mike sets his bike down next to his front door and mike slowly opens the door to enter his house
"Mom I'm home!" Mikes yells and he looks over to the side to see his dad standing there staring at Mike and mikes heart drops
Mike and Ted never had the best relationship they never really respected each other
"Where we're you Micheal." Ted bluntly says
"I spent the night at wills.." mike gulps placing his bag down on the nearest chair
"What did I tell you about hanging out with him." Ted says slightly raising his tone and mike shakes his head slowly
"I-I don't know" mike mumbles
"I told you not to hang out with him because he's a fucking fag idiot but you don't listen you always go to his god damn house at first I was fine with it because you were dating that sweet girl Jane but y'all two broke up and you've been hanging out with that faggot again!" Ted yells and mike feels shivers creeping up his spine
"W-who told you E-Jane and I broke up" mike stutters
"Nobody I heard you and your toothless friends talking about how you two broke up!" Ted says
"You we're ease dropping on me" mike scoffs
"Yeah so what I'm the adult here but you and that Byers boy have been way to close lately are you gay now is that it? Is that why you and Jane broke up?" Ted says
"N-no we broke up because I've lost feeling for her, will and I don't like each other, I have no idea what's going through your head" mike mutters and before mike can say anything else he felt a hand on his face that was his dads
Ted slapped mike
Mikes own dad had slapped him, Mike touches his cheek were Ted had slapped him and he looks back at Ted with watery eyes
"Don't talk to me like that boy! Also don't lie to be because I heard you sister and Jonathan talking on the phone and I heard that you've been going to zombie boys house and kissing him you fucking queer!" Ted yells, mikes heart stops and his face fills with shock
"so what." Mike mumbles
"What?" Ted says
"So what dad? So what I'm a fucking queer big whoop" mike scoffs with tears rolling down his face
"That's disgusting no son of mine is going to be a gay!" Ted yells
"Shocker, mikes once again the disappointment!" mike yells
"Your disowned Micheal I will no longer see you as my son, i don't want to see you talking to that's Will boy ever again your banned from talking to him Michael if I hear or see y'all two talking there will be consequences you hear me?!" Ted yells
"b-but?" Mike stutters
"No buts do you you hear me?!" Ted yells
"yes." Mike mumbles
"what?" Ted says
"yes sir" mike says
"Good now go to your room queer your also grounded!" Ted yells pointing to the stairs
Mike quickly runs upstairs and he closes his door
Right after mike locks his door he falls to the ground and he just sobs he can't even imagine what just happened.
