Chapter 4: Trust me

After the first raid was over Randall switched his rings for Ring of Fog and Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring. Randall looked at the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring with regret which Jinwoo noticed. But Sung Jinwoo was more interested in the prepose of the ring then anything else.

"Hurry up! The dungeon will close any second now." say Jinho.

"Let's go." said Randall while in his translucent state and exited first.

After that they planed 2 more raid with the same crew. But someone saw Randall.

'Was it just me or did a third guy came out with them.' thought the underaged girl.

By the end of the day the underaged girl only got more sure of it.

"Why did he need to sneak in? Couldn't he just have participated in the raid? Or did they hire a B rank hunter to help them complete the raid secretly to make themselves look more capable?" The underaged girl thought.

"Yes, how else could an E rank hunter and a D rank hunter clear a C rank dungeon by themselves."

Few days later, inside a dungeon Jinho was mining magic crystals and Jinwoo together with Randall was fighting werewolf like monsters. Randall certainly grew stronger in the last few days but Jinwoo grew faster. Randall could now use soul arrows side by side with fire balls, the two spells he has on him. On the other hand, Jinwoo's speed and strength increase considerable. He also learned a new skill and his Dagger art improved.

Randall was envious of Jinwoo as he wasn't as fast as him. He didn't have any agility stat and speed wasn't connected to any other stat. With his lacking speed he was having a hard time with faster enemies hence the reason he switched to a ranged build. But now he had a different problem, he needed more spells and miracles but he only had 2.

As Randall was wondering about how to get stronger he saw something drop from the werewolf after it was killed. He pulled out a scroll from the corpse, that scroll contained a pyromancy spell called Power Within. Its a spell that increases damage and stamina regeneration in exchange for 1% HP drain per second for 100 seconds.

"So enemies drop spells too. I finally found the answer, all I have to do is kill more of these monsters." said Randall in a quite voice.

"I am done lets get out before the dungeon closes." said Jinho.

As they were exiting the dungeon Jinwoo said

"What's the schedule for tomorrow? I forgot that i had something important to do so leave tomorrow's plans empty."

"Tomorrow, sir? I've already reserved the dungeons, but if it's urgent then I will cancel them."

"Is there really a need to cancel?"

"Sir, if you reserve a gate and don't enter within two days it cancels automatically."

"Hm... Then leave it reserved for now."

"Hunter Sung Jinwoo. Nice to meet you. I'm the chief of the second department at the White Tiger guild." said a guy waiting for us outside with his assistant.

Jinwoo and that guy then went to a nearby coffee shop to talk.

"You don't have to cancel the raid. I will do it myself." Said Randall to Jinho.

"How? Without Jinwoo it will be impossible for the two of us to do it. We will have to hire some C rank hunters."

"No need. I can do it alone."

"I know you are strong but that's dangerous."

"Trust me. I will take care of every thing other then the boss and then you come inside and collect the stones. I will kill the boss once you are done."

"You mean crystals? and why alone."

"I am not good at protecting."

"Ok, but I will still have to cancel 1 reservation. You are too slo... I meant yo"

Randall interrupted him and said "2 dungeons a day sounds good."
