Chapter 10: Jeju Island raid

30 minutes before raid,

All the korean S-rank hunters that participated in the raid are in the helicopter with the exception of Randall. There is also an A-rank cameraman with them.

"I'm the cameraman from the official hunter's reporting center. Just like the name implies, I'm someone who specializes in filming hunters. This raid will be broadcasted live on TV. You also won't have to worry too much about mistakes. Since the broadcast will have a 10 minute delay, the editing team can cut those parts out for you." said the cameraman.

"I can't believe a cameraman is deployed to a dangerous place like this. Haven't they learned from the incident with Randall." said Baek Yoonho.

"I still don't understand why Gunhee send an A-rank alone 2 days prior to the raid." said Dongwook.

"I too thought that was a bad decision but that A-rank is still fighting, 48 hours and he is still alive. I guess he wasn't laying when he said no one can kill him." said Min Byung-Gyu in what sounded like a frightened tone.

"I never thought that A-rank will be that strong. They say he killed over 3000 ants so far." said Yoonho.

"Unfortunately his camera and radio both broke otherwise we could have aired it." said the cameraman.

"They say he could solo the island himself if given enough time. I just can't understand how he managed to survive this long." said Dongwook.

"It's his teleportation. Every time he is about to die he teleports to another location. Other then that he has monstrous stamina and his spells don't seem to drain his mana. And even if we ignore all that, he still has spells that can tear an S-rank hunter apart. He is more scary then any S-rank I ever meet." said Choi Jong-in.

Everyone agreed in silence.

Down on the Island the S-rank hunters from japan were inspecting the piles of ant corpses.

"I never thought that A-rank mage could do something like this. And to think I almost fought that guy. Haha." said Goto Ryuji with sweat running down his forehead.

"Are we even needed here?" said Kumamoto.

"I think that guy earned a break, Everyone release it now." said Ryuji.

All four teams then released their magical energy together. The ants which were clustered together fighting Randall started scattering to all four locations.

The Japanese then initiated interference wave transmission to prevent the queen from communicating with the ants.

As the ants started scattering Randall thought, 'Has it started? I thought this would never end. I can finally rest now.'

Randall then looked at the humanoid ant standing in front of his. His small limbs near the waist were severed, his exoskeleton had cracked in multiple spots, one of his wings were burned and one of his eyes was destroyed.

'Why is this human not died. I sliced his head of, torn him in half, poisoned him with my strongest venom, and even smashed his head to bits, But he just keeps coming back. And now more humans have come, are they also like him? No anyone is better then him, I will kill them first and then I will kill him for good.' thought the humanoid ant and then he ran away.

"Come back!" shouted Randall as he fired a Crystal Soul Spear at the ant but missed.

"He is too strong for them! I must warn them before too many die." with that Randall started killing his way through the ants to the entrance of the ant hill.

Team Charli,

"Kenjo, look at you, man." said the healer.

"Yeah well, it was a little bit more troublesome than I had first expected. They swarmed me in formations using some semblance of orders I think I got about 30, but the fuckers got me in my shoulder and side." said Kenzo Tanaka.

"Want a heal? It'll cost ya."

"Shimizu, stop being a pain and heal me up already."

"But I want this one thing, you know. Not money this time, though."

"What then? You make more money than me anyway. You sure got a taste for money. Not good for a little kid like you, you know. Don't waste time. We got more ants flying in. Tell me quickly. What do you want?"

But the healer was dead. Her head was sliced of by the humanoid ant at such high speed that the other two S-rankers couldn't even see the ant.

"It's close! Be care...!!" Then he died. And then the other one. All within 10 seconds.
