Chapter 12: Double Dungeon rescue

Few weeks after the Jeju raid.

Randall was preparing for his raid on an A-rank dungeon with the Hunter Guild's attack force A. Cha Hae-In was also present as she came back after being rejected by Sung Jinwoo. She even paid the penalty for breaking the contract, she had it rough.

But before Randall could start the raid the guild leader stopped him and took the attack force to a double dungeon near a high school. Randall didn't protest as they were going to be support for Jinwoo.

'Jinwoo is a special person. I am certain when I killed his summons my level cap increased. I wonder if he will let me kill a few more of them if I ask.' though Randall as he made his way to the entrance of the double dungeon.

"This magic power is incredible... You said hunter Sung Jinwoo is in there?" said the Guild master.

"Yes, I'm sure."

"Then lets not waste any more time. I will go I in first alone and scout the area, once I am done you enter." said Randall and entered without waiting for a response.

He used Hidden Body and Hush while wearing Ring of Fog and then entered. Upon entering he saw a heavily damaged stone statue staring at Jinwoo. Jinwoo was injured and most likely unconscious. Randall prepared to fire his spells at the stone statue when it turned it head an looked at him.

"I almost didn't notice you." said the statue.

Randall fired Dark Bead at him but the statue dodged all but one of the orbs. Even that single orb did significate damage, it blew 3 for the statue's fingers off his right hand.

"You are no human, what are you?"

"Only if you tell me about you first." said Randall as he prepared to cast Pursuers.

"I am the architect, The loyal servant of the Monarchs."

"I am Randall of Astora. I was brought to this land by a gate and now I consider it my home. That guy over there is my friend and I am here to take him back."

"I can't let you interrupt the king's slumber." after saying that he launched towards Randall aiming to slice him in half.

Randall reacted quickly by casting Dark Bead. This time all the orbs hit the architect almost splitting him in half. Randall didn't waste the opportunity and fired that spell 5 more times at the stunned opponent.

When Jinwoo regained consciousness he saw the Architect's body was split in 2 and Randall stood in front of him.

"Hey, you, you're finally awake." said Randall.

"You defeated him alone?"

"I got lucky and caught him in a stun lock." as Randall said that all the other stone statues started moving. "Can you still fight?"

"I can."

The attack team waiting outside;

"Is he going to be ok alone?" said someone from the group.

"Don't you know? He can't die." said someone.

"That information is classified, So don't tell anyone outside the guild about it." said the guild master's right-hand man.

"Even if he can't die permanently he could be captured. He only has the strength of a A-rank after all."

"When he gets killed he teleports at the entrance of the dungeon and he can also do that voluntarily. So no, I am not worried about that."

Then Randall returned with injured Jinwoo at his side.

'What could have caused Sung Jinwoo to get injured like that?' was the question everyone had in their minds as they saw him.

Outside the dungeon Jinwoo thought as he looked at the other hunters 'If instead of Randall they entered that room, none of them would have survived. I should be more careful about my actions from now on.'

As Jinwoo was about to leave the dropped unconscious on the ground due to fatigue.
