Harumi's POV
I stared at legendary Djinn, Nadakhan—in awe. Though I tried not to, I could help but let out a gasp. He floated around the orange haze around him, a smug smile plastered across his fierce features. His ancient yet powerful eyes studied me with interest, and he looked back at Kane.
"This is the infamous villain who resurrected Lord Garmadon?", he asked him,"A girl?" a chuckle escaped out.
I clenched my fists. Kane walked forward so that he was directly beside me—which I hated—so I scooted a bit further away, frowning.
Kane frowned, his face disgruntled as he glared at me. What was his problem?
"Unfortunately, yes", he said, turning back to Nadakhan,"She's now with the ninja—mostly because she has no choice." He smirked.
I glowered, but didn't open my mouth, and just stared blankly at Nadakhan, my mask mode initiated. I didn't want the two of them gaining any sort of advantage by showing any of my emotions. They already had Lloyd and the others locked in a cell—what more of an advantage could they already have?
Don't worry, I thought, PIXAL, Zane and will find a way to save us—they might whoosh in with the Bounty and save us!
But, for some reason, I felt that it was hopeless to think any help was coming. And, so far—my instincts had been right. But—I had been the one to encourage on finding the teapot—the ninja probably hate me even more now...
I managed to restrain a sigh, and revved myself back to reality, and saw that Nadakhan was still staring at me intently with a smile, as if he knew what I was thinking all this time.
"So...Princess Harumi, isn't it?", Nadakhan said, floating over towards me, stroking his beard thoughtfully.
"It's just Harumi, thank you very much", I huffed, staring ahead, not meeting any of their watching eyes,"What do you want with me?"
"You're a brave girl", Nadakhan continued saying,"coming in a dangerous mission with your former foes just to gain your own set of wishes—very clever of you." He hummed, as he strolled around me, a smirk flashing across his face.
As my anger bubbled, My eyes narrowed as I gritted my teeth and looked at the annoying genie," I have no personal intentions whatsoever, I just want to help them with—something." I muttered.
Kane's frown faltered into a surprisingly curious expression, his head slightly tilted—his blue eyes almost hypnotising. I rolled my eyes away from his look, turning back to Nadakhan as he contemplated my response.
"Ah, so you do want something from me,"he said, his arms raised," You want—a wish." He smiled at my tense posture.
"You have three wishes, you know...", he whispered, gliding around me as my heart raced. The blood on the side of my head had dried out, but it didn't stop the aching pain stinging around my whole body.
"So?", I snapped, a bit of emotion leaking through my resolve. I bit my tongue.
"So you have three wishes to wish for anything you want!", Nadakhan exclaimed,"Anything!"
I paused, blinking—Was he serious?
"...Anything?", I mouthed, my brain whirling. I could..really wish for...? No, that wouldn't be possible— my parents are dead...or—what if...?
Kane snorted beside me, and I jumped.
"Don't get your hopes up too high, Princess", he rolled his eyes,"You can't wish for your dear mommy or poppy". He pouted at me.
