Harumi's pov
"LLOYD!!!!!", I screamed,"NO!"
Kane towered over me, a malicious glint in his eyes, grinning as I screamed for Lloyd's name.
I heaved for air as I lost sight of Lloyd in the smoke, tears burning around my eyelids.
"How could you...", I whispered in horror, my voice breaking.
I was fuming inside, and I glared daggers at Kane, who grinned care- freely.
"You MONSTER!", I screamed, getting up on my feet and tackling Kane on the deck, pinning him on the floor. He grunted, a glare flashing on me.
"Me? A monster?", Kane laughed," That's funny, coming from you."
Kane kicked me out of the way, and I stuttered to breathe, holding my side firmly as pain seeped in.
I stared at Kane for one long moment, and he seemed to pause, momentarily at a loss on what to do.
"Is this what you wanted, Kane?", I asked, my voice failing me and breaking," Is this what your mother would've wanted?"
Kane's lower lip quivered, but he held his stance firm, picking up Lloyd's fallen sword from the floor. My heart dropped.
Lloyd.
Kane studied the sword with curiosity, until pointing it to me.
"You are the...", Kane swallowed, staring me hard in the eyes," Know that this," He gestures to the chaos around him, and I looked around, the Bounty and the others not in sight now," This is all YOUR FAULT, Harumi...if it weren't for you...Lloyd wouldn't have died—"
I screamed in fury, charging towards Kane, who was surprised for my sudden lunge towards him.
I kicked Lloyd's sword out of his hand, grabbing it and, with a final heave of a breath...
I jumped out of the ship.
It's all your fault
I'm so sorry Lloyd.
I did this.
I deserved to die.
I closed my eyes, feeling the fall becoming more and more warmer as I edged closer towards the Sea.
Suddenly, a FHOOMP of a sound whipped across me, and I found myself on the floor of a familiar deck.
"HARUMI!", I heard a familiar voice which made me look up in a daze.
Cole was kneeling next to me, a relieved, yet still anguished look surpassed across his face.
I smiled, my head flaring with pain,"Oh hey Co-"
Cole suddenly wrapped me in a tight hug, and I reluctantly hugged back, pressing my face on his shoulder pad to force the grief to hide back in my mask...but it seemed to be harder than usual.
"You're okay Harumi," He said comfortingly, pulling away and rubbing my shoulder sympathetically," Everything's gonna be okay."
I shook my head vigorously, my eyes wide, and I didn't realise I was shaking so bad, till Cole gripped my hands.
"Hey, hey,", Cole said," It's okay—"
"RUMI!", Kai pushed Cole away, facing me with worried eyes, Nya, Skylor and Jay lingering behind him.
"Harumi", Kai called my name, but it seemed like his voice was underwater. I couldn't hear him.
Nya leaned next to her brother, near me.
She placed a hand on my shoulder, looking at me straight in the eyes, willing me to focus on her.
"Rumi", Nya asked, slowly and calmly,"Where is Lloyd?"
