•Carlia's POV•

The last day of school, before summer starts, always feels like time was taking it's sweet time to pass, it was only a few minutes away, but it felt like an eternity.

I was sitting at the very back of class, not paying attention to what my English teacher was saying, but I could guess it was probably just about what books we should be reading through out the summer,  the only thing running through my mind, were the nightmares I've been having the last couple of weeks, screaming in my sleep that Steven had to come and wake me up, holding me in his arms until I stop crying, they felt so real at times, that I felt like I wasn't actually asleep, except for Steven I haven't told anybody else about them. I haven't even had the courage to tell Bill, and I usually tell him everything.

The bell brought me back from my thoughts, my classmates jumped out their seats excited, running out of class, without a second thought. I took my sweet time, outside my classroom, the boys were waiting for me, as I joined them not long after.

"Sweet cheeks can you not make us wait for you so long next time." Richie spoke up, as soon as his eyes laid on me, I did what I always do when he gets flirty, I ignored him and fell in line next to Bill, as we started moving through the busy halls.

"So there's this church full of Jews, right? And Stan has to take this super jewy test." Eddie says, he always ends up surprising me with how much he could go on and on about one topic, like he knew everything.

"But, how's it work?" Bill asks, curious to know how our friend's culture work.

"They slice the tip of his dick off." Eddie says without any hesitation, I looked at him confused, remembering their was a culture that does do that when a boy reaches a certain age, but I was very certain it wasn't the Jews.

"But then Stan will have nothing left!" Richie says.

"Like you would know." I mumble under my breath, the smile on Bill's face told me clearly that he heard me.

"That's true." the boys chuckled.

"Wait up, you guys!" Stanley yells out as he finally joined us.

"Hey Stan, what happens at the Bar Mitzvah, anyway ?" Bill asks Stanley curiously, staring at him "Ed says they slice the tip of your d-dick off." Bill told him what Eddie thought what's happening at this ceremony of his, "Which couldn't possibly be true, because there is an actual culture out there, that does that I just can't remember the name." I state, the name was on the tip of my tongue, but I just couldn't grasp it, and as usual they were ignoring me.

"Yeah and I think the rabbi's gonna pull down your pants, turn to the crowd and say, 'where's the beef'." Richie says, being dramatic as he always is, making the others chuckle in amusement.

"At the Bar Mitzvah, I read from the Torah, and then I make a speech and suddenly I become a man." Stanley informs us. The hallway was getting more crowded as more students stepped out of their classes I started walking behind the boys, not to bump into anyone.

"I could think of funner ways to become a man, hey, sweet cheeks why don't we go to my house, and get a little freaky." Richie says looking over his shoulder right at me, winking at me, Bill had an uncomfortable look on his face as he glared at the boy.

"You mean i get to cut you into tiny pieces?" I ask, staring at him in excitement and a grin on my face, Richie got a bit scared, and quickly looked away from me. "Richie, more fun, you mean." Stanley corrects him.

"Oh shit."

We passed Henry and his group of asshats of friends, Patrick being Patrick was smirking at me looking me up and down, why he insists on acting like a jerk when he's around Henry, was still a mystery, because when he comes over to visit Steven, Patrick was the nicest person ever.

The hate and hunger in Henry's eyes as he stared at the boys had me worried, because it never ended up good.

Bill was looking at me, silently asking if I'm okay, I gave him a nod. "Think they'll sign my yearbook?" Richie asks, I stared at the back of  his head as if he was crazy, because he probably was.

"Dear Richie, sorry for taking a hot steaming dump in your backpack last March. Have a great summer."  Richie says sarcastically as they got to the stairs.

"Your crazy!" I say shaking my head at him, he always had to be a little extra, but in the end it did make him unique.

"Yeah, crazy for you." Richie says flirtatiously, my eyes rolled in response.
