She was the great-granddaughter of Lord Roger, Baron Clifford through his son, Lord Thomas and his wife, Lady Ida Grey, the daughter of Lord Reynold Grey, Baron of Rutland.

Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford was born in 2252, two years after Lord Richard William Carey in 2250 on Rigel Seven to Lord Robert Frederick Carey and Lady Lettice Wilhelmina Knollys.

Lord Robert Frederick Carey was the great-grandson of Lord Frederick William Howard through his daughter, Lady Sophia Charlotte who was thought to be too good to marry Lord Thomas, Baron Clifford when she was only two months and he was two years old.

Lord Thomas Clifford was born in the Barony of Clifford in 2188 and Lady Sophia Charlotte was born shortly after her father became Duke of Norfolk Territory, but a feud started when Lord Frederick William Howard insulted Lord Roger Clifford and he made a promise to Lord Frederick William '' One day someone in your family will want to marry someone in my family. I will make sure it never happens."

"There are plenty of other worthy families that have daughters who will consider my son to be a worthy match." Lord Roger tells Lord Frederick William.

Indeed, on Star Base 12 there were The Percy, The Hastings, The Grey's, and The Neville's, so Lord Roger and Lord Reynold Grey come together and in their children, Lord Thomas and Lady Ida are married in 2207 and in 2210, they have son, Lord Thomas and he marries in 2230 and his wife, Lady Elizabeth Hasting and he have son, Lord John in 2245 and a daughter, Lady Henrietta Rose in 2252.

Lord Richard William Carey meets Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford in 2268 and they are attending the same dance at her finishing school and Lord Richard William Carey is 18 years old and Lady Henrietta Rose is 16 years old.

Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford is unlike the rest of the young women at the dance . She doesn't have blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin, but she had beautiful raven dark hair, sparkling brown eyes, and golden skin and she is a bit of a wall-flower at social events and considered an introvert and she keeps to herself, until Lord Richard William Carey sees her sitting all by herself and he walks up to where she is sitting and he bows to her and he introduces himself to her " I am Lord Richard William Carey, Milady."

"I am Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford." Lady Henrietta Rose tells him with a curtsy and they sit down together and they start to talk to each other.

"Why has no one asked you to dance?" Lord Richard William asks.

"My Lord. I am unlike the rest of these fair young women here. " Lady Henrietta Rose confesses.

"I don't possess their golden blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin." Lady Henrietta Rose states.

"I think you are very beautiful, Lady Clifford. I think it is better to be different." Lord Richard William tells her.

"I am not afraid or ashamed to ask you to dance with me. So May I have this dance?" Lord Richard William asks.

Lady Henrietta Rose accepts the invitation and Lord Richard William Carey and Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford dance every dance together, and they become besought with each other and start to court each other.

Lord Richard William Carey in 2269 asks Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford to marry him, but she can't marry until she is 18 in 2270.

Lady Henrietta Rose is unaware of how Lord Richard William Carey's great-great-grandfather insulted her great-grandfather and considered her great-grandfather not worthy to marry Lord Frederick William's daughter, who is Lord Richard William great-grandmother, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard.

In 2270, shortly after Lord Richard William Carey becomes Duke of Bedford Territory he rides out to Clifford and to ask Lady Henrietta Rose to marry him and he gets down on one knee and he asks her to marry her in front of her father, Lord Thomas and Lady Henrietta Rose is torn between her love for her family and Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory, but in the end she decides to turn down Lord Richard William Carey's offer of marriage for the sake of her family.

Lord Richard William Carey asks his first cousin twice removed, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR to intervene in his behalf but Lord Charles Andrew JR explains " I am afraid that my great-grandfather and your great-great-grandfather made a mess of things back in 2190 after the birth of your great-grandmother and he insulted Lord Roger Clifford and thought his son wasn't good enough to marry your great-grandmother. He made a promise that none of his family would ever marry into our family or extended family."

"Lord Clifford has already contracted a marriage for his daughter with Lord Edmund, Baron Hastings, and if I could he wouldn't see me and it is his right." Lord Charles Andrew JR explains.

"I know the agony of heart-break, Lord Richard William Carey." Lord Charles Andrew JR states "I wanted to marry Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck, and she was the daughter of The Viscount Beck of Elmhurst Estate and my father didn't find her worthy enough to marry me."

"You like me will never forget our first loves and how Lord Frederick William and Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR ruin our lives." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his first cousin twice removed.

"One day. The right woman will show up and you will be happy." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lord Richard William Carey.

The right girl doesn't arrive until 2274 from Post War World Three Planet Earth on the USS Republic.
