Lt Kevin Thomas Riley

Lt Kevin Thomas Riley is the son of the Late Thomas and Karen Riley who fled from Post World World Three Planet Earth in 2240, and they arrived on Talos IV in 2245 and three years later their son, Kevin Thomas Riley was born in 2148.

Thomas Odell Riley came from Southern Ireland and his ancestors were Roman Catholic, but Thomas Odell Riley met and married Karen Mary O'Brien, who came from Northern Ireland and she was a Protestant and neither set of parents approved of their children's choice of spouse.

Not since King Henry VIII's time with the Irish rebellion, when Christian Catholic and Protestants were at each other's throats had there peace.

Southern Ireland was independent from Great Britain, remained Roman Catholic and Northern Ireland remained on the side of Great Britain.

Thomas Riley and Karen O'Brien eloped with each other to England and they fled from Europe in 2240, and their journey took four and half years to reach Talos IV.

Kevin was born in 2247, and their daughter, Karen Elizabeth Riley was born in 2250.

Thomas Riley took a position with the government of Talos IV in 2245 and everything went well up until the year of 2270, and then under Kudus, who was a poor governor.

Talos IV started to experience a food shortage and Kudus decided to play god and he decided who lived and received the remaining food supply and those who died.

Talos IV only had a population of 6000 in 2270, and the government had to reserve what food was available and the government under Kudus decided to executed 4000 innocent people including husbands, wives, children, who were considered non-essential and Thomas, Karen, and Karen Riley were three of the victims of Kudus list.

Kevin Thomas Riley was safely on Star Base 12 studying at Star-Fleet Academy shortly after he graduated in 2265 and he started to study at Star-Fleet Academy in 2266 and everything was going well until 2270, when he received the news that his family had been among the victims of Talos IV.

Lt Kevin Thomas Riley was granted unlimited passionate leave from his studies at StarFleet Academy to take care of his family business on Talos IV.

Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley arrived back on Talos IV to be greeted by the new provincial government and he was taken to his family home and he found the letter that was sent to his father about his family being executed.

The provincial government took Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley to the place of execution where his family had been executed and when one his neighbors saw him.

They told him " Kevin. I saw what happened."

Kevin Thomas Riley listened to the event " I had escaped execution on that day when I hid in my attic where they couldn't find me. I had food and water stored up. Most of us knew that a food shortage had been coming since 2268 after you left." The neighbor explains.

"I watched out my window from my attic when they came for your father and he died bravely and asked them to spare your mother and sister. The government showed no mercy toward your mother and sister, and two hours later they came for your mother and sister, and one of the neighbors watched from their window and they told me that your mother and sister clung to each other as they were executed and all the bodies were collected and taken somewhere." The neighbor explains.

"Your mother told me in the family vault inside of your home is trust fund and the funds for a family funeral as it was your father's wish that your mother, sister, and he all be laid to rest together.'" The neighbor tells him.

"I am afraid that my husband didn't get away and he was executed with your father, but I hid my daughter with a neighbor. She is safe on Star Base 8." The woman tells him.
