Jennie was awakened by noises coming outside Lisa's room. She fluttered her eyes open, staring at the logs and mud that were serving as a roof.
The room was now well lit. She can clearly see everything in the room already. The sun had probably risen already. The window was still closed and so was the door to Lisa's room.
Jennie turned her head to her side to stare at Lisa. She couldn't have been more glad that Lisa was the first one that she saw in the morning. She doesn't have any plans to get off of bed yet.
She was planning to just stare at Lisa's face until the blonde opened her eyes again.
Well, not until she heard two voices talking with each other outside Lisa's room. That's when Jennie only realized that she wasn't in her castle but in Lisa's house.
Her eyes widened as she abruptly sat up on the bed, staring into the door in agitation. She was still tightly gripping Lisa's hand as she alternately inhaled and exhaled deep breaths.
Last night, she had planned to stay at Lisa's side and then leave before the sun had ever risen, but she ended up doing the opposite thing.
Judging from the light that was entering Lisa's room through the little spaces between the window and its frame, she had figured that thirty minutes had already passed since the sun had made its appearance.
It was probably her exhaustion or her obsession to be with Lisa that made her so comfortable. She completely forgot about everything and just relished the moment. And now, she had just stepped her feet into a situation she wasn't sure how she would get herself out of.
Jennie was now starting to panic, looking around the room and thinking of a solution. She didn't get much time though, because Jennie soon heard a soft voice utter a statement, along with the words, "I'll just check my sister."
