Despite the doubts that Lisa's father had planted in Lisa, she still didn't back out of the wedding.

Lisa proceeded with her days as if what-ifs weren't existing in her mind. Lisajust moved forward no matter how much her father tried to convince her to ditch that wedding.

Marco didn't give up after that conversation. He still tried to convince Lisa but never succeeded.

Lisa had never got the guts to do what her father was wishing for her to do or at least to admit to the prince that her father was against the wedding.

And now, the day has finally come.

Today was her wedding with the prince. She wasn't nervous or excited. She felt like this day was just an ordinary day for her. She couldn't feel anything aside from the strange emptiness that she was feeling within her heart. Even though she had doubts and what-ifs, Lisa was still determined to marry the prince. She still doesn't have any last-minute backing-out plans.

They were still a few hours away from the wedding but Lisa was already getting dressed. There was a woman who was styling her hair, applying cosmetics on her face that she had never used before, and a woman who would help her wear her dress. They were all friendly to Lisa, telling some silly stories, and making a comfortable environment to help Lisa ease up, since they had noticed that she seemed a little bit down.

A knock coming from the door had put a halt to their conversation. A servant had walked to open the door and was greeted by the prince.

The servant immediately bowed before him, as well as the other servants who were inside the room. Through the reflection in the mirror, Lisa and Jungkook's eyes met.

Lisa smiled at him and the prince reciprocated the smile with a smaller one. He was not yet dressed for the ceremony. He was still in his usual tunic and trousers and somehow he looked troubled for some reason.

Lisa turned her body to face him, still having a smile sitting on her face.

"Hey, is there any problem?" Lisa asked. She had figured that something was going on with his mind.

"Can you leave us for a moment?" Prince Jungkook asked, referring to the servants.

"As you wish, Your Highness." The servants answered and then left the two alone after vowing their heads.

Lisa tucked the loose strand of her hair behind her ear as she asked the prince the same question.

"Is there any problem, Kook?"

Because after this day, they would soon become a married couple. Lisa was no longer addressing the prince as 'Your Highness', just like when they had barely known each other. She was still not used to it and sometimes it felt really awkward to call him by his name alone, but she was doing her best to get used to it.

The prince smiled at Lisa and crouched down in front of Lisa. He lifted his hand and caressed Lisa's cheek, still smiling and staring lovingly at Lisa's chocolate-brown eyes.
