"Lisa, you have finally arrived! Come here, help us." Seulgi said, gesturing for Lisa to walk closer to her.
Lisa looked around the grape farm, still amazed at how vast the farm was.
The first time she stepped there, she was mesmerized because she didn't know that there was a farm hiding just behind the castle. Not like the castle, it was enclosed, to prevent the animals living in the forest from destroying the farm.
Based on what she learned from her friends, they were supplying wines from different kingdoms. They also mentioned that they used to focus just on the Kingdom of X, but several months ago, they tried to trade with different kingdoms, and judging from how busy they are now, it had a great result.
Mino is now not the only one who was handling their wine business. Everyone, excluding Jennie, has their hands full.
Lisa grabbed the basket and a small knife that Seulgi handed to her and copied what her yellow-haired friend was doing, looking up at the hanging grapes, checking for one that she could harvest already.
Just several minutes after she arrived, Jisoo and the pixies came to help them.
Lisa looked back to where they came from. When she arrived at the castle, no one was around. She couldn't see anyone, not even Jennie, so she went straight to the farm, hoping to find someone.
She had convinced herself that it was pretty normal. After all, they have a business to take care of. She doesn't have questions about the boys' whereabouts, but in Jennie, she has dozens of questions.
Lisa had never arrived here before only to find that Jennie wasn't around. Which is why that kind of disappointed her. Probably because Jennie was the biggest reason why she was traveling for approximately seven hours just to reach this place.
Lisa cleared her throat as she put down the basket on the table. No one seemed to notice Lisa's strangeness as they all proceeded with removing the stems of the grapes that they took.
Lisa bit her lip as she took a deep breath, and decided to just ask it herself.
"Where was everyone?" Lisa asked. She tried so hard to sound completely normal, not to sound like she was actually just curious about Jennie's whereabouts, since she already had an idea as to where the boys were.
Jisoo lifted her chin to glance at Lisa for a brief second, then looked down at the table again.
"The boys were out like usual, busy dealing with wine and such."
Lisa almost frowned when Jisoo didn't mention anything about Jennie . But she, of course, stopped herself so she wouldn't look suspicious.
"How about Jennie?"
This time, Jisoo no longer looked up and just kept her gaze fixed on the grapes in her hands.
"Your Highness was visiting the graves of her father and oldest brother."
"Oh." That's what Lisa only gets to say, sounding sad at the news. She had always wondered where Jennie'sparents were or how her life was before she became a beast, but she never got the strength to ask questions about that.
