Jennie could feel her heart wildly beating against her chest. She was nervous. She was excited. Not only with the fact that she will get to kiss Lisa again, but with the possibility of her returning to being a human.
Jennie couldn't wait to hold and hug Lisa with her human body. She was already starting to think about what she would do if she had finally returned to being a human. She couldn't wait for this curse to be over. She couldn't wait for this nightmare to be over.
Jennie's hands on Lisa's cheeks were trembling.
Lisa was showing no resistance. She was just staring at her eyes, losing herself in the deepness of Jennie's Feline eyes. The distance between their lips was only a couple of millimeters.
Jennie had already had enough of it. She was about to conquer that distance and meet Lisa's lips but Lisa lowered her head, making Jennie step back instead. While holding the side of her head, Lisa grunted in pain with her closed eyes.
"Lisa, what's the problem? Are you in pain?"
Lisa heard Jennie ask. At first, she can clearly hear everything that Jennie was saying, but as the pain intensifies, her sense of hearing is slowly dissipating. Her grunts also get louder and louder the longer her headache lasts.
Lisa felt like someone was cutting her head into two. This was the usual headache that she had been experiencing for the past several months but the pain was unusual. Of all the times that her head throbbed in pain, this was the longest and the most intense.
Lisa wanted someone to just cut her head so this would be stopped already- so she would no longer feel the pain. But there was something weird this time. Those blurry images flooded into her, but this time they were clearer.
For the very first time, Lisa heard that blurry woman's voice and she finally saw what that woman looked like.
"You were beautiful."
"I just missed you a lot."
