chapter 1

" Be mine " the first word slips out of his tongue and my heart starts to pound heavy
Every girl in my university dies for him
Here I don't know what to do just standing in front of him ripping my nail polish from my nails due to nervousness and him patiently waiting for my answer.

I don't have any specific reason to say no to him but
I never saw him in that way
I always think of him as a friend who was with me during my ups and downs.

He is my senior and close friend
"Y/n" my thoughts were interrupted by him
"I'm sorry Jay," I said in a low whisper but he got me
"It's ok y/n I'm not trying to force you" Silence filled in the room only can hear our heartbeats which are pounding with train speed. The silence broke when the last Bell of our university rang which brings me back to reality before I left the room he held my hand "Y/n you're my best friend I don't want to lose you because of this confession" he said in low voice guilt can be visible in his voice." jay you're always my friend it doesn't change because of this matter but can you promise me one thing" I said he lifted his head telling "of course y/n anything for you" I held his hand before saying "please don't take this topic in-between us in future" he took a minute and give me a nod in agreement " sure y/niee I promise this topic will end when we step out of this room " he said with a light smile on his face I sighed heavily

Walking out of the room I took a deep breath passing a smile at him We walked to a nearby cafe I treat him to his favourite black coffee and I started sipping my hot chocolate after completing our drinks he dropped me at my house in his car, I opened the car door before stepping outside I heard a throat clearing voice following the sound I melt his dark chocolate brown eyes which are filled with love and bit of guilt cause I already know the reason my thoughts were again interrupted by him " y/n I know you're little upset with my behaviour earlier sorry for everything and have tight sleep, I will meet you at university tomorrow " he said with a warm smile which melts my heart I return the same smile before telling him "it's ok Jay have good sleep" waving my hand I left his car and entered my house.

I met my two beautiful souls who are waiting for their daughter. I greet them to have a little talk and pass into my room to take a quick shower before a nap. I try to close my eyes but his confession again came into my mind whipping it off I slowly drifted into sleep

Time skip morning:

Birds started to creep I slowly opened my eyes and moved my head beside the table and the first thing that caught my eye is an alarm which shows I only have thirty minutes to get ready for my university I hurriedly stepped out of bed and began to get ready running through the downstairs my mom started yelling at me " ya eat your breakfast " but I'm not in the state to answer her "mom I'm already late I will eat my breakfast at the cafeteria" I yell back to her and left the place I heard dad telling me to take care.

I stepped into the university and took a glance at my watch ' Thank God I still have 5 minutes left ' I thought moving to my classroom. I heard someone calling my name on a high pitch knowing who it is I stood silently waiting for her "Ya why are you not answering my calls since yesterday" "Did anything happen between you and Jay" "Are you, guys argued" she continued with the questions without giving me a sec to answer her "mina" I said with a sigh then she took a break and look at me still have so many questions in her tiny brain " I will answer all to your questions can you come fast we are already late " I said she gives me a nod we entered into our class

Time skip at the cafeteria:

"what," she said almost breaking my ears "Mina low your voice " she sighs " Jay who is an ideal type for every girl in our university including me has proposed to you, how can you say no to him," she said
" I know but it's just that I never saw him that way," you said "It's ok y/n just leave that topic let's go to a movie today," she said with excitement I nodded my head in agreement. We are talking about some random things and giggling without caring about our surroundings just then I felt a pair of eyes watching me. I look at my surroundings but can't find anyone
'maybe it's just a hallucination ' I thought

But little did she know it was not a hallucination and her future is linked up with that pair of eyes
