Hinata sat staring at her phone, in shock. She couldn't believe what she was seeing – her photo next to his in bold letters, indicating a match on the dating app. She rubbed her eyes, hoping it was some sort of illusion, but there it was, still displayed on the screen. She let out a yelp, as she threw her phone aside. Why would he be on Tinder? Wasn't he dating Sakura? Did he swipe right on her by accident? Hinata couldn't help but feel confused and overwhelmed with questions.

She stood up to try and distract herself from the situation. She absentmindedly stroked her hair, her mind racing with different scenarios. Should she tell Sakura? Could it be a prank? It was all too much to handle. "I need to go to bed early," she announced to herself, walking into her room and flopping onto her bed still dressed in her school uniform. Her white cat who was already on the bed moved, snuggling into her side. Hinata wasn't excited for tomorrow as it was going to be a weird day.

Hinata's eyes shot up at the sound of her alarm. She stretched, prompting her cat Mochi to jump off the bed. sluggishly she sat up and scanned the room until her gaze landed on her feline companion. Chuckling softly, she addressed the pet, "Mochi! I had the weirdest dream." The animal tilted its head in response before wandering out of the room. She rose from her bed and made her way to the bathroom. It couldn't have been real, she reasoned, dismissing the thought as she began her morning routine. After showering and brushing her teeth, she dressed in a fresh uniform and headed to the kitchen for a quick bite before heading out.

With toast in hand, Hinata checked the time and gasped, realizing she was running late. She hastily gathered her belongings and rushed out the door, barely making it to the elevator as the doors were closing. To her surprise, her neighbor, an elderly woman, was inside.

"Good morning, Hinata!" the woman beamed.

"G-good morning, ma'am," Hinata stammered in reply, feeling flustered.

As the elevator made its way down, the doors opened on the fourth floor, and stepping inside was none other than Sasuke.

The old woman greeted him with a warm smile, but he didn't respond, instead casually leaning against the back of the elevator.

Hinata couldn't help but steal a glance at him, well aware of how little they usually interacted. She couldn't help but think about yesterday, realizing it was probably the most they had ever spoken. Her thoughts drifted to her strange dream, but she quickly shook them off, dismissing the possibility entirely.

When the elevator reached the garage, the elderly woman bid them farewell and headed towards her car. Hinata prepared to make her way to school when Sasuke spoke up.

"Need a ride," he offered coolly.

She hesitated, not wanting to be a burden. "U-um, I don't want to inconvenience you. You gave me a ride yesterday."

"Get in."

Hinata felt her heart racing as she stood frozen, grappling with the decision of whether or not to accept Sasuke's offer. His monosyllabic call, "Hyuga," broke her out of her thoughts, and she slowly walked over to the car, opening the door before sliding into the passenger seat. As she settled into her seat, she couldn't help but wonder what her friend Sakura would think if she saw them together. It was the only thought that consumed her mind.

Sasuke started the car and drove out of the garage in silence, his eyes focused on the road ahead.

Hinata fidgeted nervously in her seat, unsure of what to say. She stole a glance at Sasuke, who appeared completely indifferent to her presence.

Feeling a sudden burst of courage, Hinata decided to break the awkward silence. "T-thank you for the ride, Uchiha-san," she said softly, hoping to ease the tension.
