"Class, we have a new student today! Please come in!" the teacher announced, and the students turned their attention towards the door. Hinata glanced up, curious to see the new arrival.
The new student, a boy with short black hair and dark eyes, walked into the classroom. "Hello, I'm Sai," he introduced himself, his voice neutral.
"Welcome, Sai," the teacher greeted with a smile. "Please take a seat next to Hinata." The teacher gestured towards Hinata, who raised her hand to indicate where she was sitting.
Sai nodded and started walking towards his assigned seat. Hinata watched him curiously, noting his composed demeanor and reserved manner. As Sai settled down in the seat next to her, Hinata offered him a friendly smile.
"Hi, I'm Hinata," she greeted softly. "Nice to meet you, Sai."
Sai nodded in response, his expression unreadable. "Likewise," he replied in a monotone voice, making Hinata wonder if he was shy or simply reserved. She decided to give him some space and not push for further conversation, respecting his boundaries.
The class continued with their lessons, but Hinata couldn't help but steal a few glances at Sai during the day. He seemed to be paying close attention to the lessons, diligently taking notes and keeping to himself.
Sasuke's dark eyes narrowed as he noticed Hinata staring at the new student, Sai. A feeling stirred within him, something unfamiliar that made him grind his teeth in discomfort. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he didn't like it. Sasuke found himself feeling an inexplicable aversion towards Sai, even though he had just met the boy.
The teacher directed Sai to join Sakura and Naruto's group, and the pair waved at him in welcome. Sakura leaned on Hinata, drawing her attention away from Sai. "He looks kinda like Sasuke, don't you think?" Sakura remarked casually.
Hinata looked at Sai and nodded in agreement. "Yeah, he does. They could be like twins," she replied, noting the resemblance between Sai and Sasuke's features.
Sasuke's discomfort intensified at the comparison. He didn't appreciate being compared to someone else, especially someone he already disliked. He clenched his fists, trying to push down the strange feelings that were bubbling up inside him. He couldn't understand why he was reacting this way to Sai, and it bothered him.
Hinata noticed Sasuke's tense demeanor and sensed that something was off. She glanced at him with concern, but before she could say anything, the bell rang, signaling the end of class. The students dispersed, and Sasuke quickly made his way out of the classroom, needing some space to clear his head. Hinata exchanged a worried look with Sakura, who shrugged in confusion. Sakura decided to talk to Sasuke later and find out what was bothering him.

"Sasuke? What's wrong?" Sakura approached him as he stood outside during lunchtime, trying to get his attention. Sasuke didn't respond, his mind already preoccupied with his own frustrations. He wasn't in the mood to deal with Sakura's persistence.
"Go away," Sasuke said tersely, avoiding eye contact with her. He could feel his anger building, and her presence was only making it worse.
But Sakura refused to back down. "No, not until you tell me what's going on!" she complained, her tone pleading. She reached out to touch his arm, but Sasuke recoiled, taking a step back.
His frustration boiled over, and he couldn't contain it any longer. Sasuke stood up straight, getting uncomfortably close to Sakura, glaring down at her face. "It's over. You and I. I want nothing to do with you. Go away," he said through gritted teeth, his words sharp and final.
Sakura was taken aback, her eyes widening in shock. She had never seen Sasuke like this before, and it stung. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. "You don't mean that, Sasuke," she laughed nervously, thinking he was joking. But Sasuke didn't retract his words, his expression cold and distant.
"This isn't funny, Sasuke," Sakura tried again, tears starting to well up in her eyes. She reached out towards him, hoping to connect with him emotionally, but he remained unresponsive.
"I don't want you," Sasuke said flatly before turning around and walking away, leaving Sakura standing there, heartbroken and confused, as he disappeared from her sight.
"S-Sasuke!" Sakura called after him, her voice choked with emotion. She couldn't understand why he was pushing her away so fiercely, and it hurt more than she could express. She stood there, tears streaming down her cheeks, feeling a sense of loss and rejection that she had never experienced before.

Hinata bumped into Sai as she was turning a corner landing on top of him. "Oh sorry Sai! I didn't see you there." She apologized, getting off of him and stretching her hand out to him.
"Apology accepted," Sai replied with a faint smile as he took Hinata's outstretched hand and allowed her to help him up. He brushed off his clothes with a calm and collected demeanor. "No harm done," he said, his voice even and composed.
Hinata nodded, her cheeks slightly flushed from the accidental collision. "I'll be more careful next time," she said softly, her natural shyness coming to the fore.
Sai observed her with his keen eyes, noting her gentle nature and genuine remorse. "It's alright," he reassured her, his smile widening slightly. "Accidents happen." Hinata's blush deepened at his kind words, and she gave a small nod of gratitude.
"You're a diligent person, Hinata."
Hinata blushed at the compliment, her heart swelling with warmth. She had always admired Sai's directness and honesty, and she found his words comforting. "Th-thank you, Sai," she stammered, feeling a surge of gratitude towards him.
Sai inclined his head, acknowledging her gratitude. "You're welcome," he said simply before walking away. Hinata watched him walk away, a little perplexed that he didn't say goodbye or anything. She stood there for a moment, lost in her thoughts, when suddenly a voice whispered in her ear, causing her to jump.
"Hinata," the voice said softly, and she turned around to see Sasuke standing behind her. Her heart skipped a beat at his unexpected presence. "You scared me," she said, placing a hand over her chest.
Sasuke smirked, leaning in again to whisper in her ear. "I broke up with Sakura," he said, leaning back to look at her face. Hinata gave him a small smile, but in reality, she felt a pang of sadness for her friend Sakura. She knew how much Sakura loved Sasuke, and she couldn't help but feel conflicted about the news.
Hinata asked, her voice barely above a whisper, "Are you happy about it?" Sasuke nodded. "As long as you're happy, then I'm happy," she said, trying to be supportive despite her mixed emotions.
Sasuke's hand moved a piece of hair out of her face, and he looked into her eyes with intensity. "You coming over tonight?" he asked, his voice low and seductive.
Hinata didn't know how to respond. Part of her wanted to be there for Sasuke, to comfort him in his time of need, but another part of her felt uneasy. Shouldn't he have time to grieve his recent breakup with Sakura? "I don't know, Sasuke," she whispered, her voice filled with uncertainty.
Sasuke's grip on her tightened, and he pulled her around the corner where no one could see them. He pinned her against the wall, his breath hot against her ear. "I need you," he whispered, his tone urgent and desperate.
