Sasuke and Hinata sat side by side in class, their desks pressed closely together as they read from a book. Hinata occasionally brushed her hair out of her face, her attention divided between the text and her own racing thoughts.

Feeling a sudden urge, Hinata raised her hand and asked the teacher, "May I use the restroom, please?" The teacher nodded, and Hinata excused herself from the classroom, needing a moment to clear her head.

As she walked out into the hallway, Hinata made her way towards the open window by the stairway, craving some fresh air. She leaned against the window sill, taking deep breaths as she tried to calm her racing heart. She couldn't shake off the fear that had gripped her earlier that morning.

Hinata knew that things were going to be more difficult than she and Sasuke had anticipated, especially with the possibility of Sakura showing up unexpectedly. Just yesterday, their desire for each other had been so intense that they couldn't even wait to make it to Hinata's bedroom, ending up on the couch instead.

She knew that they needed to be careful and discreet, and the thought of getting caught sent shivers down her spine. She clenched her fists, determined to keep her emotions in check and not let fear cloud her judgment.

The sound of footsteps coming to a sudden halt drew Hinata's gaze upwards, where she met Sasuke standing at the top of the stairs. His dark eyes were locked onto her, and in a low, concerned voice, he uttered, "Hyuga, you alright?"

Hinata weakly smiled at him, but it was clear to Sasuke that something was bothering her. She nodded her head, trying to reassure him, but her eyes were filled with tears.

Without hesitation, Sasuke walked down the stairs and reached out, grabbing her wrist and pulling her close to him. "You're lying," he said softly, his voice tinged with worry.

Hinata looked at him, her tears threatening to spill over. "I-I'm scared," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

Sasuke sighed and rubbed his temples, releasing her wrist. "We will talk about this later," he said firmly, looking into her eyes. Hinata nodded, grateful for his understanding.

He looked around, making sure they were alone before he pulled her into a quick but reassuring kiss. "Calm down," he said softly, his breath warm against her lips. "You're fine. Let's go."

"Can I stay the night again?" Sakura asked Sasuke as they were all driving home. Sasuke shrugged, not seeming particularly bothered.

"Yay, let me just make sure with my mom," Sakura said, pulling out her phone and starting to text. Hinata was sitting in the back, looking out the window, lost in her own thoughts. She just wanted to go home and forget about the day.

Sakura suddenly squealed with happiness, looking at Sasuke with a bright smile. "I can!" she exclaimed. Sasuke simply replied with a nonchalant "Hn," glancing at Hinata through the rearview mirror.

"Hinata, would you like to come over too?" Sakura asked, catching Hinata off guard. She looked at her, feeling unsure of what to say. Her mind was still racing from everything that had happened, and she wasn't sure if going to Sasuke's apartment was the right thing to do.

Hinata hesitated for a moment, feeling a mix of emotions. She appreciated Sakura's offer, but she also didn't want to intrude or burden anyone. Sakura was eagerly waiting for her response.

"I...I appreciate the offer, Sakura," Hinata finally spoke up softly, "but I think I'll just stay home tonight." She tried to smile, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. "Thank you, though."

Sakura frowned. "I was hoping that we could eat together and play some games." She sounded genuinely disappointed, and Hinata felt a pang of guilt for declining her invitation.

Hinata met Sakura's eyes and tried to convey her gratitude. "I know, Sakura, and I appreciate it. But I think I need some time alone tonight. It's been quite a day, you know?"

Sakura sighed, seemingly understanding.

Sakura sighed as she lay on the couch, feeling a mix of annoyance and disappointment as she looked up at Sasuke, who walked out of his bedroom wearing different clothing. "Sasuke-kun!" she said, trying to put on a smile. He sat down and pulled out a blunt, lighting it up without a second thought. Sakura wrinkled her nose, her disgust evident.

"Why do you have to always do that around me?" Sakura asked, her voice tinged with irritation. She didn't understand why Sasuke felt the need to smoke around her, knowing how much she disliked it.

Sasuke looked at her with a bored expression, seemingly unfazed by her discomfort. He reached out to offer her the blunt, but Sakura quickly shook her head, declining the offer. She didn't want to give in to the temptation or compromise her principles, even if it meant disappointing Sasuke.

Sakura sighed, feeling disappointed as she watched Sasuke. "Can we have sex?" she asked, her voice tinged with longing. "It's been almost a week."

Sasuke looked at her with a lack of enthusiasm, responding with a simple "Hn" as he put out his blunt.

Sakura smiled, trying to initiate intimacy by crawling onto his lap. She cupped his cheeks and leaned in to kiss him, running her hands through his hair and moving her hips against his. However, after a few minutes of grinding, Sasuke didn't seem to be responding as expected. Sakura looked at him, confused.

"Weed," he said, offering the reason for his lack of arousal.

Sakura sighed, feeling frustrated. She got off his lap, her mood deflated. "Really? Ugh, Sasuke, come on!" she whined, feeling disappointed and let down by the turn of events. "I'm going to bed." She said leaving the room.

Sasuke looked at nothing in particular before leaving the apartment.

Hinata was spending time with Mochi, her fluffy cat, on her bed. She had curled up on the shirt Sasuke had left behind, smiling as she watched Mochi contentedly purr, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. However, Hinata's mind began to wander as she got up to grab a glass of water from the kitchen.

Her thoughts turned to Sasuke and what could be happening at his place. Were they being intimate? After all, he had to keep up the act of being in a relationship with Sakura, right? But the mere thought of it pained Hinata deeply. She couldn't understand why it hurt so much to think about Sasuke being with someone else. It was a confusing mix of emotions that left her feeling unsettled and uneasy.

A knock at the door interrupted Hinata's thoughts. She walked to the door and opened it, only to be pulled into a kiss by Sasuke before she could even finish saying his name. He closed the door with his foot and walked them to the couch, gently laying her on top of it before getting on top of her. Hinata looked at him, confused, when he pulled back from the kiss.

"A-are you okay? Where's Sakura?" she asked, her concern evident in her voice. Sasuke mumbled something that she couldn't quite understand. "What?" she asked, leaning in to hear him better.

"I couldn't get hard," Sasuke admitted, his voice low and almost ashamed.

Hinata looked into Sasuke's eyes before pulling him into a tight hug. He was tense at first, but gradually he relaxed in her embrace. She gently stroked his back and hummed a soothing tune, offering him comfort in the midst of the complicated situation they found themselves in.

As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Hinata's mind raced. She knew they couldn't keep hurting Sakura, but at the same time, she couldn't deny the growing feelings she had for Sasuke. They were caught in a web of emotions, torn between their loyalty to Sakura and their own desires.

Sasuke pulled himself up slightly, looking down at Hinata. Their eyes met, and for a moment, it felt like time stood still. "We should stop this."
