As Sasuke pulled away from the kiss, Hinata felt a wave of regret wash over her. What had she just done? She had kissed her best friend's boyfriend, and she had a boyfriend of her own, Kiba.
Sasuke, on the other hand, seemed unfazed. He looked at Hinata with a smoldering intensity, as if he was daring her to say something.
For a moment, they just sat there, staring at each other in the dimly lit board box. Hinata's mind was racing. How could she have let this happen? What was she going to do now?
Sasuke, seemingly unaware of Hinata's internal turmoil, reached out to touch her cheek. She flinched slightly, but he didn't seem to notice. Instead, he leaned in to kiss her again, and Hinata found herself responding despite herself.
But as they kissed, the guilt became too much to bear. Hinata pulled away abruptly, her heart racing.
"I can't do this," she whispered, her voice shaking. "I'm sorry, U-Uchiha-san, I can't."
Sasuke's expression was unreadable, and for a moment, Hinata thought he might be angry with her. Instead, he just nodded and leaned his forehead onto hers for a while before pulling away to exit the tight board box. Hinata accepted his offered hand to help her crawl out as well.
As they stood outside, Hinata suggested that they pretend that nothing happened between them, as it wouldn't be fair to their partners. Sasuke replied with a simple "Hn, See ya," before walking away, leaving Hinata standing there watching his back.
Hinata murmured a "Yeah, see ya" even though she knew he didn't hear it. She leaned against the building, waiting a few minutes before following Sasuke back to the bonfire.

A few days later, Sasuke reached over and plucked the blunt from Naruto's fingers, bringing it to his lips and inhaling deeply. The smoke swirled in his mouth before he exhaled a cloud of white mist. "Naruto," Sasuke's voice was slightly muffled by the smoke as he spoke.
Naruto grinned at his friend as he took the blunt back. "What's up, Teme?" he asked, using his usual nickname for Sasuke.
"If you were in a relationship and you felt more sexual with another girl than your partner, what would you do?" Sasuke asked, his dark eyes fixed on Naruto as he took another drag from the blunt.
Naruto's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "No fucking way, dude!" he exclaimed, leaning in closer to Sasuke's face. "You're not sexually attracted to Sakura anymore?"
Sasuke rolled his eyes, smacking the back of Naruto's head with a sigh. "No, you dumbass," he said, his tone irritated. "I'm just speaking hypothetically."
Naruto scratched his head, looking confused. "Hypo-what?" he asked, struggling with the unfamiliar word.
Sasuke rubbed the bridge of his nose, feeling a headache coming on. "Never mind, you're just an idiot," he muttered under his breath.
Naruto pouted, offended. "Hey, I'm not that dumb!" he protested, taking a puff from the blunt to prove his point.
Sasuke's lips curled up in a smirk as he watched Naruto's reaction. "Sure, sure," he drawled, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Thanks for the input, Naruto. I just needed a different perspective," he added, his amusement evident in his voice.
Naruto grinned, feeling proud of himself for contributing to the conversation. "No problem, Teme," he said, using the nickname again. "You know I'm always here to help."
Sasuke rolled his eyes but didn't bother correcting Naruto this time. He took another drag from the blunt, lost in thought as he pondered his own situation.
"Sasuke!" A high-pitched voice yelled from across the football court on the school's property.
"Fuck." Sasuke said, putting out the blunt.
Sakura approached them, her nose scrunching up at the smell in the air. She cast a disapproving look at the scene before her. "Were you guys smoking weed?" Sakura asked, her voice laced with disapproval.
Naruto stood up and wiggled his eyebrows at her. "Hey there sexy! When are you going to get rid of Teme over there and be with a real man?" Naruto slurred, the weed affecting him.
"Gross, Naruto. Cut it out," Sakura said, giving him a disgusted look.
"Sakura! Why can't you just give me a chance," Naruto whined.
"Naruto," Sasuke warned, his voice low and stern.
Naruto backed off, sensing the tension between his friends. He sat back down, still feeling the effects of the weed. Sakura turned her attention back to Sasuke, her expression softening.
"Sasuke, come on. Let's go home," Sakura said, tugging at his arm gently.
Sasuke hesitated for a moment, then sighed and nodded. He glanced at Naruto, who was now grinning goofily and shook his head. "Hn. Let's go," Sasuke said, standing up and following Sakura out of the school grounds.
"Sasuke, I can't believe you're smoking on school grounds!" She scolded and she stopped walking and grabbed his cheek. "Is this about your parents' death anniversary?"
Sasuke, not wanting to tell her the real reason, nodded his head.
"I know what can help take your mind off that," she said with a wink.
Sasuke raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Sakura's suggestion. "What might that be?" he asked, his tone teasing.
Sakura leaned in closer, her lips brushing against his ear. "A little late-night celebration," she whispered, her voice husky and filled with desire.
A faint smile tugged at the corner of Sasuke's lips as he felt a surge of anticipation. Sakura's way of comforting him was always physical, and it was a method that had been effective in the past. He nodded, and they continued their walk home, their hands intertwined.
As they arrived at Sasuke's place, Sakura immediately pulled him inside, her lips eagerly seeking his. She was determined to erase any lingering sorrow from his mind and replace it with the bliss of the present moment. Sasuke welcomed her advances, his mind temporarily freed from the burdens of the past.
Sasuke knew that what he was doing wasn't entirely right. But in that moment, he needed the warmth and intimacy that Sakura offered. It was a way to temporarily forget his troubles and feel connected to someone who cared for him.
As the night progressed, the two of them became lost in each other, and for a while, it seemed like the world outside didn't matter.
Sasuke fixated his gaze on Sakura's slumbering form, her back turned to him as she drifted into sleep shortly after their intimate moment. Resting his head on his arm, he lay there, staring at the ceiling.
"Hinata," he murmured in a soft sigh, almost as though invoking her name would bring her closer. His other hand lightly brushed against his lips, and he couldn't help but be captivated by their softness. How could lips be so incredibly tender? He was uncertain, but one thing was clear: he yearned to experience that sensation again. It had become a need, something he couldn't ignore.
