Sakura and Sasuke had been dating for almost a year now, and like any other couple, they had their fair share of arguments. But today's fight was different, it was intense.
It all started when Sakura asked Sasuke to come over to her house to watch a movie. Sasuke wasn't in the mood to watch a movie, but he still came over to see her. As they sat down on the couch, Sakura started the movie, but Sasuke didn't seem interested. He was scrolling through his phone the whole time.
Sakura finally had enough and paused the movie. "What's wrong with you? You haven't said a word since you got here, and you're not even paying attention to the movie!"
Sasuke sighed and put his phone down. "It's nothing, I'm just not in the mood for a movie tonight."
Sakura rolled her eyes. "Well, you could have told me that before I made all these plans."
Sasuke stood up, clearly annoyed. "I don't understand why you always have to make a big deal out of everything."
Sakura felt a surge of anger. "Excuse me? I'm not making a big deal out of anything. I just wanted to spend time with my boyfriend, but apparently, that's too much to ask."
Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "Don't act like I don't make time for you. You're the one who's always complaining about me being too busy with school and work."
Sakura stood up, now equally angry. "You're never around when I need you. You always put your stupid homework first!"
Sasuke scoffed. "At least I have goals and aspirations. All you ever do is follow me around like a lost puppy."
Sakura felt a lump form in her throat. "How can you say that? I support you in everything you do!"
Sasuke shook his head. "You just don't get it, do you? I need someone who's independent and can take care of themselves. Not someone who's always relying on me for everything."
Sakura's eyes filled with tears. "Is that what you really think of me? That I'm just some helpless girl who needs you to survive?"
Sasuke didn't respond. He grabbed his hoodie and headed for the door.
Sakura's voice cracked as she called after him. "Sasuke, don't go!" But he didn't listen. He slammed the door shut behind him and was gone.
As he stormed into his apartment building, he jabbed the elevator button with such force that it was a wonder it didn't break. He waited impatiently, his arms tightly crossed over his chest as he stewed in his anger. Suddenly, he heard the door open and someone step in beside him. He turned to face the intruder, his eyebrow raised in irritation. To his surprise, he found Hinata standing there, her eyes downcast.
Without a word, he turned away from her and faced the elevator, ignoring her presence. As the doors slid open, he walked to the back of the elevator and leaned against the wall, his gaze fixed on the numbers above the door. He glanced over at Hinata, who stood near the door, her eyes trained on the floor.
Despite his anger, he couldn't help but notice how attractive she looked. His eyes roamed over her figure, taking in the curves of her body and the way her hair fell in soft waves around her face. He quickly shook his head, banishing any thoughts of desire from his mind.
Sasuke quickly averted his gaze and looked straight ahead. The elevator ride was quiet and tense, with neither of them saying a word. Sasuke was still seething from his argument with Sakura, and Hinata was uncomfortable with the awkward silence.
As the elevator doors opened, Sasuke stepped out and left Hinata behind, feeling frustrated. He took a deep breath to calm himself and made his way to his apartment door, pulling out his keys. However, as he attempted to unlock the door, the key snapped inside the lock. Sasuke swore under his breath and ran his hand through his hair in annoyance.
