"I can't believe he just broke up with me like that! That...that dick!" Sakura cried, her tears soaking Hinata's shoulder as she clung to her for comfort.

Hinata gently rubbed her back, offering words of consolation. "I'm sorry, Sakura. I know you're in pain."

Sakura sniffled, trying to wipe away the tears that kept falling down her face. "C-can I spend the night here? I don't want to go home," she pleaded, her voice choked with emotion.

Hinata nodded without hesitation, understanding Sakura's need for comfort and support. She helped Sakura to her bedroom, gently laying her down on the bed. "Of course, Sakura. You're welcome to stay here as long as you need," she reassured her friend with a compassionate smile.

"I'll go get you some water. I'll be right back," Hinata said softly, leaving the room. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a cup, filling it with water. As she held the cup in her hand, she couldn't help but reflect on the events of the day. It had been an interesting day indeed.

She had told Sasuke that she wasn't going to sleep with him right after he had broken up with Sakura. His reaction had caught her off guard, as he had simply walked away, seemingly unfazed. Hinata sighed, feeling conflicted.

Hinata entered her room and handed Sakura the cup of water. "You should rest, Sakura. I'm sure that would make you feel better," she said softly, her heart heavy with guilt. Sakura nodded weakly, turning to her side, her eyes red from crying. Hinata gave her a reassuring smile before quietly leaving the room, turning off the light and closing the door behind her.

As she sat on her couch, Hinata found herself lost in thought, her mind swirling with conflicting emotions. She couldn't shake off the guilt she felt for sleeping with Sasuke. She knew that if she hadn't given in to her feelings, Sakura and Sasuke might still be together today. She scolded herself for her actions, berating herself for not being a good friend.

She decided to go to the grocery store to get food to make for Sakura. She grabbed her belongings and walked out only to bump into a chest.

Sasuke felt a sudden impact against his body, and he looked down to see Hinata looking up at him with wide, surprised eyes. "Oh, Sasuke. Sorry, I didn't know you were at the door! I was just about to go grocery shopping," Hinata said, quickly creating some space between them. Sasuke sighed, feeling a pang of regret for the way he had acted earlier.

"I wanted to apologize for earlier," Sasuke began, but Hinata interrupted him, her voice hushed.

"No need to apologize, but you might want to come another time. Sakura is inside," she whispered, casting a wary glance towards the door.

Sasuke looked at her with a detached expression, as if he didn't care if Sakura was right in the other room. He got closer to her pinning her up onto her door making a thud sound. "I just need this right now." He said leaning down, giving her a kiss.

Startled by a strange sound at the apartment door, Sakura's heart raced with worry. "Hinata?" she called out, but there was no response. She quickly got out of bed and made her way to the living room, calling out Hinata's name again.

As Sakura approached the door, she peered through the peephole and saw black hair. Her eyes widened in surprise. "Mm. We can't be doing this right now," Hinata's voice came from the other side of the door. She turned away from the door scared that she would see his face.

Sakura's mind raced with questions. Was that Sasuke with Hinata? What could they possibly be doing together? Her emotions were a mix of confusion, shock, and betrayal. She strained her ears, trying to catch any more snippets of their conversation, but she couldn't make out the details through the closed door.

Sakura's hand instinctively reached for the doorknob, but she hesitated. She paced back and forth, her heart pounding in her chest. She couldn't believe that Hinata, her best friend, and Sasuke, her ex-boyfriend, would betray her like this. Her mind was flooded with memories of her past relationship with Sasuke, and the pain of their breakup came rushing back.

Hinata walked into the apartment, deciding to skip her errand after the events that had transpired earlier. She was taken aback when she saw Sakura sitting on the couch, her hands buried in her hair. Sakura looked up at Hinata with tear-streaked cheeks.

"Are you and Sasuke together?" Sakura's voice was shaky, her eyes filled with pain and confusion. Hinata's heart clenched at the accusation.

"N-No, why would you think that?" Hinata stammered, her eyes widening with panic.

"I saw black hair in the peephole, Hinata. You can't lie to me. How could you do that?" Sakura's voice broke as she burst into tears.

Hinata's mind raced, trying to come up with an explanation. "It wasn't Sasuke. It was the Tinder guy," she blurted out, her guilt gnawing at her conscience. "I-I told him that you were here and that we couldn't do anything."

Sakura looked at Hinata incredulously, her tears still streaming down her face. "Then what's the guy's name, huh? You've never told me and you always keep him a secret! Tell me!" Sakura's voice was filled with hurt and betrayal.

Hinata hesitated, feeling the weight of her lie. She took a deep breath before finally answering, "Sai."

"The new kid?" Sakura asked, her voice laced with disbelief.

"Y-Yes, I swear. He just didn't want anyone to know," Hinata said quickly, her guilt piercing through her. "I would never hurt you like that, Sakura. I would never lie to you."

Hinata felt a pang of regret for keeping secrets and lying to her best friend. She knew that Sasuke had been a bad influence on her, and she realized the mistakes she had made. She looked at Sakura with pleading eyes, hoping for forgiveness, but she knew it wouldn't be easy to regain her trust.

Sakura's expression softened slightly, but her hurt was still visible. She wiped away her tears, trying to process the revelation. She had misjudged Hinata, and her heart ached with the realization. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself.

"Well now I can see why I mistaken him for Sasuke." She let out a sad laugh. Hinata forced out a giggle scared she would find out the truth. "I can't believe that it's Sai!"

Hinata anxiously bit her nail, her nerves in overdrive. She knew she had to talk to Sai tomorrow, and the mere thought of it made her stomach churn with awkwardness. She needed to ask him if he could pretend, and the anticipation was almost unbearable.

"This is going to be so awkward," Hinata murmured to herself, her mind racing with all the possible scenarios that could go wrong. She imagined stumbling over her words, blushing uncontrollably, and feeling utterly embarrassed. The thought of Sai's reaction made her even more anxious.

As if that wasn't enough, she also had to talk to Sasuke about his reckless behavior. The weight of the situation added to her anxiety, and she couldn't help but feel overwhelmed.

"Ugh, can the universe give me any more trouble?" Hinata sighed, feeling the weight of the challenges that seemed to keep piling up. She longed for a moment of reprieve, but it seemed like one obstacle after another kept coming her way.
