Sasuke's lips trailed along Hinata's neck, leaving a trail of marks. Hinata's whispered protest made him pause as she gently pushed him away.

"Sasuke," she said softly, adjusting her disheveled clothing. "We need to go back."

Sasuke grunted, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "We haven't had sex in a while," he pointed out, his desire evident in his tone.

Hinata looked at him with a sad expression. "I know," she whispered. "But it's hard because Sakura comes over."

Sasuke let out a resigned sigh and walked out of the janitor's closet first. Hinata followed, taking a moment to compose herself before stepping out as well, only to run into Sai. She greeted him with a smile.

"Hey Sai," she said, and Sai responded by wrapping his arm around her and walking them both to class. Sakura noticed them and greeted them happily.

"Hey guys," she said with a smile. "Man, Sai, those are gnarly marks you left on Hinata," Naruto chimed in, walking up to them. Hinata instinctively covered her neck, surprised, and glanced at Sasuke, who was smirking at her. Sai forced a fake smile, looking uncomfortable, before kissing Hinata's cheek.

Sakura, noticing the tension, quickly changed the topic. "So, what's everyone up to after school?" she asked, trying to steer the conversation away from Hinata and Sai's intimacy.

As Naruto's enthusiastic voice filled the room, suggesting they all head to the local ramen shop, everyone seemed quite eager to join in on the adventure. Well, almost everyone. Sasuke, ever the enigma, had a different agenda.

"I have some things to take care of," he stated, his usual stoic expression firmly in place. It was a typical Sasuke response, and no one seemed surprised by his refusal to join.

Hinata and Sai, however, exchanged a subtle glance, their eyes speaking volumes. They had both decided that this was the perfect opportunity to reinforce the illusion of their "relationship."

Hinata bit her lip, her cheeks flushing slightly as she mustered the courage to propose their plan. "S-Sai," she stammered, "since we have some free time... we could... maybe spend it together?" She felt a strange mix of excitement and nervousness as she spoke, the words coming out with a certain level of shyness, even though she knew it was all part of the charade.

Sai nodded, keeping a neutral expression, though his eyes sparkled with amusement. "Sure, Hinata," he replied, going along with her idea. "It sounds like a good idea. We could... go for a walk in the park."

"Well, have fun, you two," she said with a knowing grin, earning an embarrassed blush from Hinata and a nod from Sai.

As the school day ended, Hinata and Sai walked out together, hand in hand, leaving Sakura and Naruto to head to the ramen shop.

Hinata and Sai released each other's hands and sighed as they disappeared from view. Hinata couldn't help but feel apologetic towards Sai for the complicated situation they found themselves in.

"I'm sorry about this again, Sai," Hinata murmured, her voice laced with genuine gratitude. "Thank you for everything you're doing."

Sai stood there, looking at Hinata intently. He reached out and gently lifted her chin, making her meet his gaze. His dark eyes searched her lavender ones, and both of them were filled with confusion.

Sai leaned forward slowly, his lips hovering just above hers. Hinata's heart started to race, her mind swirling with conflicting emotions. She was unsure of what to do, frozen in place, unable to move.

Then, Sai's lips met hers in a brief, gentle peck. Hinata's body tingled with surprise, and she felt her cheeks flush. Sai pulled back, looking at her with a mixture of bewilderment and regret.
