Skylar's POV
"Katie fell asleep" Zach whispered as he pulled into the garage
"Oh" I murmured "I didn't even noticed I'm so tired" I yawned
The restaurant Zach recommended was way too far it was a really long drive, Zach's friend owns that restaurant so he booked a special rooftop seat for us and treated us with a special wine it was his way of congratulating us for the engagement but Zach refused the gift he sweared to never drink in front of Katie so instead of wine his friend served us the most expensive grape juice from France or some European country. 'Really kind of these rich people'
"I'll get her you unlock the door"
"Yeah" I climbed off the car while Zach unbuckled Katie's seat and picked her up in his arms, she wiggled and snuggled into his body, he locked his car and was soon beside me meanwhile I kinda struggled in getting the keys out of my purse
"Wait a sec" Zach pushed the door with his elbow "its opened" he frowned
"What ?" I murmured, a shiver ran through me and all my sleep flew away within seconds, I remember locking my house
"you didn't locked the house ?"
"I did, I remember locking it" I bit my lip
"Its fine" he sighed "I'll rest her on her bed and you check if something is suspicious"
"Yeah" I nodded we both slipped into my house slowly
The hallways are clear, Zach slowly took steps upstairs while I went into the living room I switched on the lights and trust me the house is perfect it is as I left it in the morning, everything is set perfectly
Thank God no one came into the house while we weren't around but I am sure I locked the door I always check twice whenever I leave, I took a deep breath and walked towards the kitchen to grab some water
I poured myself a glass of water and leaned on the counter, the kitchen feels so unsettled the vibe is really uncomfortable I don't know maybe I'm just sleepy Its been a tough week with work and family and out of nowhere my parents fixed my marriage with my best friend I would have never agreed to this proposal if it wasn't Zach, I know him he's nice he'll take care of me and Katie we haven't dated at all so I hope after wedding we get along and go on dates and do all the stuff girlfriend-boyfriend do....
I placed the glass into the sink and turned around but a certain person grabbed me and pinned my body on the wall,I gasped loudly I was going to shout but he was quick enough to place his hand over my mouth, my eyes widened when his face came into my view
I said his name through my mouth but my voice muffled over his hand
"Shhh" Justin whispered "I'm sorry Sky" he leaned in, I tried to push him but he pressed his body against mine "don't shout" he ordered with a sharp tone in his voice, I tried to shrug off from his body but failed miserably "I'm sorry" he removed his hand
"For what ?" I shouted
"That I treated you like a piece of shit, please Sky give me another chance" he leaned in closer but I tried to pull away so badly, my head is rubbing over the wall, he's drunk his breath smells like various alcohol and his mouth stings I looked away to ignore his smell
"Justin please leave me" I said politely
"No, not until you forgive me" he said while anger filled his voice
"I won't please Just.." I pushed away his body but he grabbed both of my wrists and pushed me hard against the wall, I groaned in pain "Fuck Justin let me go" I said
