Skylar's POV ( a week later )
"What happened ?why were you panicking on the phone earlier ?" I sat in front of him in the cafe we normally have our lunch
"Justin wants to know about Katie he was asking me things but I changed the topic saying I have a class and left" he shrugged,and looked away I think he's right Justin was even trying to talk to me but I ignored him all the time,I was not planning to tell him anything but from few days Katie is only talking about Zach and her time with him and she kept asking me why I don't tell her about her daddy and everything is messing up with my head
"Ok I know he would do that,tell him everything I don't give a fuck,I know ignoring him will not help me and he'll find a way to meet her and I am going to totally allow them to see each other"
"Really? Why ?" He shook his head and frowned confusingly
"I am angry at him and I still hate him,but the thing is I have already lied a lot,Katie needs a father,and if Justin is trying to take responsibility,if he's trying to become a father I won't stop him liam"
"But he left you"
"No" I shook my head "I can't do this anymore,I hate it when she asks me about her dad and I just change the subject all the time"
"So you're going to give him a 2nd chance" he took a deep breath I know its not a question he already thinks I am giving him 2nd chance, there is no fucking way I'll give him a second chance but I should try,I should let him meet her ,not because of me because of her
"Ya,Maybe only if he genuinely changes"
"He won't" he rolled his eyes "I know that asshole"
"Do You remember the old me ?" He nodded "Remember I hated cooking,I loved dressing up like a bitch and I was full of makeup,I used cringe whenever I used to see a kid and at last I loved drinking and having Sex.....and look at me now I am nothing like that,I was never like that, it was just peer pressure and I guess I was trying to ignore my parents, the moment I had Katie in my belly I knew I have to change and I did,I changed for good,now I am just a responsible mother and I have a great job,Maybe he can too"
"Okay fine" he raised his hands in defense "but if he didn't changed I would finally kill him"
"I don't have any problem with that" I chuckled leaning back on my seat "look someone is staring at you" I looked on the other side where Brandon and his friends are sitting laughing and chatting but Brandon's eyes are fixed here on liam
"I noticed that" he grinned and waved a little at him with a wide smile,he returned the wave and winked at him "he likes me I think" he rubbed his nape nervously
"He does,when are you asking him out?"
"I don't know we're just friends now I want to take things slow"
"Friends? He was staring at you and he winked he personally doesn't want to take things slow,I would recommend you to actually talk to him more in public or on calls"
"Ohk" he nodded "I still want to take it slow" he whispered
"No problem but the faster you'll go, the faster his dic...."
"Shut up Sky" he blushed
"Ok but isn't it weird that your crush and my father have the same name Brandon Watson" I whispered his name after years, after years he left me
"His last name is Wickson not Watson" he shrugged
"Yeah yeah!! I am free later so I'll be in the library and make sure you tell him everything" I stood up with my bag,making my way to our school library,I am not going to study,I am going to do my work,Zach told me to submit a manuscript a week ago but I totally forgot and I have to send it to Dimitri tonight,after settling down I took out the manuscript and started marking important words and need to change stuff,after an hour he came,I had a hope that he'll come and he's here
"Hey Sky" he sat across me
"Can't you just leave me alone" I rolled my eyes dramatically,though I wanted him here,its a right place, right time
"Nobody can stay away from their love" he said staring at me
"I don't love you" I glared at him,I don't, thats the truth I loved him earlier but I don't think I would ever love him the way I did then...
"I do" I rolled my eyes again 'he's just lying right?' I asked myself he doesn't love me its attraction "well I gathered some information about our daughter"
"My daughter" I hissed,that's also true she's only my daughter he wasn't there when I was pregnant,he wasn't there when I went into labor,he wasn't there when she was growing up,I was there always...
"Okay your daughter" he smiled
"By the way what information ?"
"Okay first she's a girl, her name is Katie Watson she's 3 years for now, her birthday is 24 April and she was born correctly 8 PM from C-section and for now she's in a daycare called baby second mom daycare"
"I'm impressed, how you came to know ?" I shook my head,with a fake impressed look,liam did a good job in telling him everything but still not everything
"I have sources" he grinned
"Liam is a not a source" I snorted "I know he told you because 1st he can't keep anything in his stomach and 2nd I told him to tell you"
"Oh okay good" he grinned and I saw a little blush on his face, embarrassment guys embarrassment "Coffee after college ? You and me? I still have to make up"
"I have to pick her up" I am not refusing his offer but it feels weird because this guy in front of me is the who hurted me and left me, was once my love
"We can" he said and I raised my eyebrow "I mean I have to know her I have to love her, I have already miss 3 years with her, I never saw her when she was born, I never saw her laughing, I never saw her crawling, I never saw her saying her first words, I never saw her walking but now I want to be with her every day" he made a cute puppy dog face he knows its my weakness please
"Ohk coffee and then we'll pick her but please don't talk to her till we reach my house" I requested him

"Are you going tell her or I will ?" I whispered in his ear,Katie has been quiet since the second he arrived she's just staring at him from living room while we're in my kichen,we have been trying to tell her from last half an hour but we're nervous
"Do you think she'll accept me ?" He nervously smiled "Sky my heart is beating so fast I mean Look at her she's so cute and beautiful like you,I can't believe we made her" he holded my hand
"I know" I smiled looking at our intertwined hands "lets do it" I said "Katie sweetie" I kneeled in front of her while Justin also kneeled beside me "Do you believe on your mommy?" She nodded "you always ask me questions about your daddy right ?" Before I can say anything about Justin
"Are you my daddy ?" She asked looking at Justin with a cute pout
"Yes" he nodded "Yes I'm your daddy" he pressed his lips in a thin line and his eyes pooled with happy tears
"Daddy" she smiled widely and hugged him,he hugged her tightly crying on her shoulder,he's so happy,she's so happy,I wiped my tears from my face,I didn't realized that I was also crying but they're happy tears fuck I never thought I'll cry "are you sad daddy ?" She cupped his face with her small hands
"No" he shook his head and wiped his tears "Daddy is very happy after meeting his Katie,I am sorry Katie and Sky,I am sorry" he hugged us and I rubbed his back,I never thought this reunion can be emotional never ever...
"I love you daddy and mommy" Katie whispered
"We love you too Katie" we kissed her cheeks and she giggled,finally after all these years I have my family
