Skylar's POV

"Zach" I shouted through the darkness my voice echo but I don't hear anything in return.

"Mam just follow me closely" Ramirez said and walked in front of me making sure me and Katie are behind him, Katie is silent in my arms she's just happy to have her mother around. She have buried her face into my neck and clutched my sweater into her small hands in case I go away, I have my gun but it's in my pocket I just have one torch in my hand and it's kind of useless because it's battery is running out, Ramirez and I walked towards the control room and luckily I didn't trip on anything because I mostly trip on stuff.

"Zach" I whispered and joined by his side

"Babe" he kissed my temple the smiled at Katie and kissed her head

"Is everything alright ?"

"We're clueless what happened to our electricity, I informed on the reception they're looking after it. I and Jeff are basically going through old recordings in case someone did it on purpose but we still don't have any clue "

"Zach it's useless many people come and go in the building and there are constant movements even at the rarest places" I shrugged

"You're right but we can't just sit back and relax" he rested his hands on his hips and we both stared at Jeff in case he have something new for us.

"Don't stare I have nothing I'm clueless myself let's wait until light come back. Do you think Brittany again did something ? Like we know who's the imposter now so isn't it obvious that she can be behind this"

"Nah" we said in unison "she's scared she would have told if Rebecca was upto something and Rebecca isn't dumb enough to depend on one girl for her work she does it two way" I said, I still need to talk to Brittany about Rebecca and what made her do everything behind our backs for now I don't believe she can disable our system, a system this complex. Never .

After waiting for another 10 minutes the electricity came back and Jeff re checked if everything was working properly or not while Ramirez checked if there's anything wrong or if something is missing but there wasn't anything to worry so we all went back to sleep, Zach was too concerned about Katie so he let her sleep with us and trust me it was the best for her to sleep with us because otherwise nightmares would have haunted her.

"What about the other penthouses are they also having power cuts and cameras problem ?" I asked Jeff he took a deep breath and looked at the device in front of him we still don't have any idea about the imposter and about the power cuts we had few days ago, it's been all messed up and I am myself having a lot of headaches and last night I even took a sleeping pill to fall asleep

"No mam, it's only us having such problems and the thing is that though we have security we don't know if there's any other imposter between us apart from Brittany and we can't just point out anyone. Well if someone else is there with her then they'll be more careful now" he sighed I can see even our bodyguards and especially Jeff have been stressed out lately. Even Anna confronted me about feeling uncomfortable but we can't do anything

"Justin is here" I looked at the camera screen which shows us the special elevator "we'll take about this later and Jeff we trust you the most please help us" I said, he nodded and gave me an assuring smile I returned it and walked out of the control room when I reached to the living room Katie and Justin were already having their father daughter moment.

"Daddy I missed you" Katie said to him while hugging him "I missed you so much" I saw few tears escaping her eyes she actually missed him so much

"Princesses never cry" Justin wiped her tears, I smiled and walked away to the kitchen. I am letting them have their moment I grabbed two cups and started preparing some hot creamy coffee for us he loves it. After I was done Katie was again gone in her room or I think Justin shooed her, he was all alone texting on his phone I rested the cups on the coffee table he smiled and stood up "Hey Justin" I hugged him tightly "I missed you"
