"Open your mouth"
"Ahhh" Katie opened her mouth wide open, I fed her her favorite soup, Katie always takes advantage of being sick, she always demands for movies, phone, her favorite food, her favorite toys, she wants me to pamper her 24×7 and now she demanded me to feed her like I used to when she was a year old
Justin is having his dinner, its probably his last day here, his parents are calling him back home because he always stays with me or Katie Well its good if he goes for sometime. He has been nothing but a headache to me, seriously I am so stressed sometimes I'm still young and have a lot over my shoulders, I have a kid, I don't have very good financial status, I have a really busy job along with university and I live my ex boyfriend who was and is a total asshole
And I know I could borrow a whole load of money from my mom and stepdad and they'll give it to me without any questions but I have chosen it for myself they're my family but I am not gonna depend on them and give everyone a reason to pressurize me in future "Umm...Skylar" Justin asked
"Yeah ?" I asked then wiped the soup from Katie's mouth
"Nothing" he shook his head
"You sure ?" I faced him
"Yeah" he shrugged
"Mommy Zachy didn't dinner with me" Katie pouted "I want him stay forever" she whispered
"Katie, eat your dinner" Justin clenched his jaw, I locked my eyes with him but he didn't even looked at me, he almost shouted at her, he never shouts at her like he does at me
I sighed but still answered her "Sweetie Like you and me always have dinner together Zach is meeting his father after a long time"
"Zachy do not live with his daddy ?" She pouted and her eyes widened,ok so Katie once asked me that why I don't live with my parents and in hurry I answered that everyone lives with their parents until they have kids and Zach definitely doesn't have one
"Yeah, his dad lives far away from him and they rarely meet so, yeah....his dad is important for him"
"Can we just stop talking about Zachary for a fucking second ?" Justin shouted
"Justin" I shook my head at him, he cursed in front of Katie "Justin you can't shout like that" I said, I looked at her, her face looks so small she's not looking at me, her face looks sad and pale her lips are pressed together "Seriously" I shook my head "Sweetie" I stretched my arms towards her and picked her up in my arms "we'll eat dinner in your room" she buried her head in my neck and I picked up her bowl from the other hand He opened his mouth to speak up 'No' I mouthed and walked upstairs
After few minutes Katie finished her food but her mood was off, So I recited her my story but in a different way I replaced myself with a princess, her with a magic...a miracle, and when I ended the story with Happily ever after she asked me "Mommy the prince ?"
"Well baby you don't always need a prince, some princesses are prince themselves like Elsa, she doesn't have any prince by her side she's always the queen or Merida, she and her mom went on an adventure together"
"We also go on adventure" she smiled
"Yeah ofcourse we'll go on an adventure together just don't turn me into a bear" I pouted
"Mommy bear" she giggled and laughed hard "mommy is daddy angry ?"
"No, No daddy isn't angry at all"
"He hate Zachy ?"
"No daddy doesn't hate Zachy, daddy is just busy with stuff and he hates that I'm also busy with work, he didn't mean to shout" I lied "Sweetie you should sleep its late" I whispered
