Skylar's POV
"Guys I have to tell you something?" I sat beside Liam while Lexi was sitting beside John and they were basically discussing something very deeply
"What ?" Liam asked me
"We're going to Maldives for vacation, Richy invited us"
"That's great you need a break" he grinned
"I know, I would've been happier if mom asked me about it"
"It's ok Richy is a nice guy Sky, I love that he loves you and Katie like his own blood" Lexi smiled at me
"Yeah he told me that he always wanted a daughter and he got one, when he married my mom, I don't even know how they got together and married" I shrugged
"Yes and I don't even know you and Justin got together" Liam narrowed his eyes
"Don't" I gave him a side eye. Even I don't know when and how we got together I just remember countless texting and calling and always seeing each other behind the bleachers when no one is around. I remember sneaking out for him and him sneaking in my room to see me but it's all gone now.
"Well how's Katie ? I will love to meet her again" John said he's a nice blonde guy but he's a little introverted I don't know only Lexi knows him they were destined to meet
"she's great, you can meet her anytime come around with Lexi and we all can have dinner together and we're leaving next week, or wait we can have dinner at mine on Saturday"
"Sounds good" Liam said
"Are you free babe ?" Lexi asked him and he nodded "good boy" she kissed him on his cheek and we continued our lunch

"Look mommy I made a castle" Katie shouted
"Me too" Connor raised his hand in air
"Me too" Carol shouted
"Great Job kids, I can see that" I said showing them a thumbs up. I looked at the sand castle they made, it's just a lot of sand in a triangle size and a small entry in the center and a small plastic flag on the top, in short a typical sand castle they do have plastic toys to make a proper one but they're kids they hardly used it and Connor has a truck which he loves rolling around the sand, both Carol and Katie has cars and they typically do a race between those 3.
"Hello I'm Kimberly" I heard a voice, a girl around my age extended her hand. I didn't know she was standing beside me or she just came
"Hey I'm Skylar" I took her hand and shaked it
"I'm Connor's babysitter for now his mother is ill and his father loves her so much that he's with her every second" she rolled her eyes "and you are ?"
"I'm Katie's mom" she opened her mouth to say something but I didn't let her "I know I'm young, I got pregnant when I was 16 now no more questions and I'm a single mom"
"Ok are you studying ?"
"Franklin University" I sighed
"No way I'm actually thinking of applying there" she punched me a little on my arm
"Oh really" I fake smiled
"I have visited the campus and I love it there"
"Yeah two people never saw each other at uni campus are meeting here at kids playground" I said
"Sorry but it's getting late we have to leave or his parents won't give me money" she made a sad face
"Yeah me too, I have to preparedinner and it's already 6" I sighed, I have a lot of load on my shoulders
