Skylar's POV

"Okay I hope I don't fall" he carefully holded my hands tightly his eyes are staring at the ice beneath us, his hands are shaking and he's nervous as hell.

"Zach when was the last time you came here ?" I chuckled and carefully helped him to skate across the ice rink, he wrapped his hand around my arm and tried matching my steps on the ice, we skated towards the railing and he quickly supported himself with it

"Its my first freaking time told you I started my business at 15 and--"

"I know, I know" I interrupted him "I shouldn't have brought you here not the best first date" I grinned and took his hand in mine

"No I'm having fun, great first date" he smiled

"I can see how much fun you're having" I said while we slowly skating in the rink, his grip tightened on my hand and we slowly and slowly skated living the moment, well I was living the moment Zach was not "you want a walker or a holder ?"

"No No" he shook his head "I'm good"

"Ok so I am leaving you try to skate towards me" I gently removed his hand from mine and skated the other way, he wanted Katie to join us but Its our day our moment we're on our first date for God's Sake "Zach Babe please try" I said to him he's clinging on the railing of the rink oh god he's almost 30 and scared to skate on the ice

"Fuck No Sky seriously" he tried to skate towards me slowly his eyes were fixed on me and he isn't actually skating he's walking on the ice but its ok for me for now "Finally" he hugged him when he was finally close enough to me "We're not coming here ever again"

"Ughh we'll bring Katie someday"

"No please No I don't want her to get hurt from this ice and I don't want to get embarrassed too" he looked around the rink, its not that crowded today but there are few kids who are doing way better than Zach "Can we just drop this let's go somewhere else ?"

"Ummm ok, let's change and get ready" I skated away from him and towards the entrance

"Hey don't leave me alone" he said and carefully walked across the rink In between he grabbed the railing for support but not fully, while he struggled I took off the ice skates and changed back into my normal shoes, Zach joined me soon and got rid off those ice skates too "I'm never wearing those again" he rolled his eyes

"Okay" I chuckled

"What ? Stop making fun of your future husband"

"Awww" I pinched his cheeks "You're so cute"

"Excuse Ms. Watson, I'm your boss too" He said in his old annoying tone, I remember that tone from the day I joined the company he looked so pissed and bossy that day and look at us now, only few months can change a lot

"Ughh I hate that bossy tone" I pouted with an annoying look

"Ummm I have a confession" he bit his lip

"Yeah"

"The day you came in my office for the first time, I acted like I didn't knew you I pretended that I didn't knew that you're Richy's daughter or I didn't knew where you studied or worked, I lied to you on multiple occasions I knew everything about you, I searched up everything the night after we all had dinner few months back" he holded my hand and caressed the back of it softly

"That means you knew that I have a daughter before I told you"

"Yes" he nodded "I always knew about Katie, even before she was born, I just lied and lied to get into your lives....a part of me fell in love with you that night only, I didn't said anything to you but I fell in love with your smile"
