Once upon a time, there existed a world where men were considered to be completely worthless. It was a society where women held all the power, and men were relegated to the lowest rung of the societal ladder. They were seen as nothing more than mere objects, existing solely to serve their female counterparts.
From a young age, boys were not allowed to attend school, and were instead required to work in fields or other manual labor jobs. They were forbidden from learning anything beyond basic reading and writing, as their roles were viewed as being nothing more than grunt work. Women, on the other hand, were privileged enough to attend schools of their choosing and were encouraged to develop themselves in various fields.
As men aged, they could apply to be servants or butlers in the houses of wealthy women who never hesitated to hire them, knowing full well that they were required to accept whatever work was assigned to them without complaint. It was a world where men were not allowed to express any emotions, as weakness was not allowed to be associated with them. Men were expected to carry on with their work stoically, without indulging in any kind of fun or enjoyment.
The few men who dared to question the societal norms were punished swiftly and severely. They would be ostracized and ridiculed, cut off from their families and communities, and forced to live a life of extreme poverty and loneliness. It was almost impossible to escape the rigid gender roles that defined society, and so men were forced to deal with their circumstances, day in and day out.
But one day, an extraordinary man emerged, who dared to stand up against the tyranny of his world. He advocated for gender equality and worked tirelessly to educate people that true equality would only be achieved when all genders were treated with respect and dignity.
Slowly but surely, his ideas spread, and more and more people began to pay heed to his words. Change was gradual, but it came, and soon enough, men were finally able to live with the same level of respect and dignity as their female counterparts, and society was better off for it.
