Joshua was just a regular 12-year-old boy. He had grown up in a world where male children were taught to be submissive and obedient, while female children were taught to be dominant and aggressive. Despite the fact that such a situation was unfair to males, no one ever thought of challenging it.
Joshua suffered greatly from his upbringing. He felt timid and weak, and found himself constantly looking to be dominated by someone. Every day after that, Joshua submitted himself to her. He cleaned her home, cooked her food, and generally made himself as useful as he possibly could.
For the first time in his life, Joshua felt accepted and valued. He was proud to be her servant and even proud of the collar around his neck, something that would have been mockery not so long ago. Though their power dynamic was lopsided, Joshua enjoyed their relationship and the feeling of being wanted and appreciated.
Years passed and the two developed a strong bond that superseded their arrangement of mistress and servant. Even though it seemed everyone else loved this system, Joshua was grateful to have been able to find a mistress who was kind and understanding. He blossomed into an adult with self-confidence and a newfound respect for himself, and he always thought fondly of the woman who gave him the chance to be more than just a submissive, obedient boy.
