Once there lived a young boy named Edward. He was a very gentle and feminine soul, who took his grace for granted. He lived with his addicted parents who, despite all their faults, had raised him with love.
But one day, Edward's parents had gone too far. Seeking a quick way to pay off their mounting debt, they decided to sell Edward to the highest bidder.
Edward was terrified and had no idea of what the future held in store for him. He was taken to a lavish estate, where the people who had bought him resided. These people had very strict rules and would not tolerate any form of disrespect.
Edward had no choice but to obey and serve his new masters. But to his surprise, he found himself increasingly enjoying the work. He was given a full wardrobe of clothes and was fed a variety of sumptuous dishes. Every night he had to tend to the gardens, or take care of the horses and other animals.
At first, Edward was scared. He knew that if he stepped out of line, his new masters would not hesitate to punish him. But overtime he grew to accept the idea of being an obedient and compliant servant.
One day, the family announced that their son was to be wed. The man the family had chosen for their son was aggressive and domineering. Edward couldn't help but feel a strange attraction to his future husband.
On the day of the wedding, Edward felt his palms sweating. He couldn't believe that he was marrying into such a powerful and respected family. But as the ceremony progressed, he felt something strange inside him - a feeling of contentment.
To his surprise, his new masters had accepted Edward into their family and were providing a dowry for his marriage. They had even allowed him to stay in the estate and continue working as a servant there.
And so, on that day, Edward and his new husband were happily married. They enjoyed a long and successful marriage, thanks to the support of his new family. Edward now knew that even though he had been sold by his parents, his life was not over. Instead, he had found love and acceptance in the most unlikely of places.
