Okay uhm, I don't know how I'm gonna write Haku's pronouns in this part of the story..
Cause I wanna make it so that Maniko thinks he's a girl, even if everyone reading knows he's a boy..
Soo.. I'm gonna give him the pronouns of 'She/Her' until he reveals himself as a boy in the story, and from then on, I'll address Haku as 'He/Him'
Snores were audible within the forest, as a certain blonde and a certain tealette laid spread on the grass. Unknown to the both of them, an unfamiliar, dark haired, pedestrian noticed. They looked towards the Tasuya, then to the Uzumaki, then back to the Tasuya and couldn't help but study his features.
"N.. NarUto- Don't eat my... Ramen.." The teal haired boy mumbled in his sleep, eyebrows furrowed as the dark haired boy watched in amusement.
"Hey, wake up. You're gonna catch a cold." The female ordered, bluntly as she lightly shook the other's shoulder. Maniko jolted awake, Kunai in hand, and ready to attack, until he noticed a figure carrying a basket.
"H.. uh? Who are you..?" Maniko muttered, still somewhat half asleep from last night's training session. The boy blushed, after noticing the pretty female, who smiled softly at the boy. "U-uhh.. I mean.. Hi there..?" He stammered.
Maniko looked down at the basket. "What's that for?" He asked, stretching his arms.
"I'm collecting herbs." The female announced. 'Her voice is so soft! I might have to simp-' The tealette thought to himself.
"Need help?" Maniko offered, with no hesitation and a bright smile on his face.
"What about your friend?" She pointed out. Both heads turned to the sound asleep Naruto, who was snoring into an oblivion.
"Aha, right.." Maniko softly shook the blonde's shoulder. "Maniko... Hm.. ireallylikeyou..." Luckily for Naruto, Maniko could only piece together his own name out of all the mumbling he heard.
'Is this mf dreaming about me?' Maniko sweatdropped. "Eh?! Naruto, wake up!" He ordered, a lot less softer, causing the said male to jolt up, with a blush on his face. "Gah! I'm up! I'm up!"
"Sweet dreams?" Maniko joked, resulting in Naruto's face turning a deep shade of red. "WhA- WhAt do you meAn?!" Naruto voice cracked, as the Tasuya held in his laughter.
