"Shhh, look how peaceful he looks sleeping though!" Hashirama whisper-yelled, placing his index finger against his mouth.
"I think we should allow him to rest. He can't keep overworking himself, or else all the training he put in would be fruitless..." Minato explained, looking down at the sleeping Genin.
"I agree. Despite Maniko's insistence, if he ends up overtraining to the point where he cannot walk, he'll be too sore to even take place in the exams." Hashirama nodded.
Tobirama huffed in response. Secretly, he was salty considering this was his day to train him, but nobody had to know that. "I suppose so." He sighed.
"What should we do now, then?" Hashirama asked.
"He made us food on our second day here, so we can return the favour and make him something! How about a nice breakfast?" Minato concluded. Tobirama rolled his eyes at the foolish request.
"Sounds good to me! Except... I can't cook.." Hashirama sweatdropped, rubbing the back of his neck in shame.
"That's okay! The dishes are pretty simple anyways. How about this, Hashirama you work on the tea, Tobirama you can do the rice, and I'll make the tamagoyaki." Minato explained.
"I can live with that." Hashirama shrugged, with a smile.
"I never agreed to this." Tobirama scoffed, looking away.
"Maybe.. But if you don't, then Maniko won't be in good condition for the Chunin Exams." Hashirama lied, knowing Tobirama will always need an excuse to doing something like this.
"Fine. I'm doing it because I have to, not because I want to." The silver haired hokage denied.
'You keep telling yourself that..' Hashirama thought, turning on the kettle.
"Do you guys think he likes a lot of sugar in his tea?" The first hokage asked, deep in thought.
"I wouldn't be surprised with all the energy he always has.." Tobirama retorted, pouring some rice into a pot.
"Yeah, he probably does have a sweet tooth. Just don't give him too much, or he'll end up running on walls.." Minato sweatdropped. Tobirama shivered at the thought. An overly energetic Maniko was in fact his worst nightmare.
"Hm," Hashirama hummed in agreement, adding one more spoonful of sugar into the mug. The mug now had four spoon fulls of sugar... "That seems like a Maniko amount of sugar..." He concluded.
"I'm nearly finished with the tamagoyaki." Minato announced, rolling up the last layer of eggs.
"I finished the tea!" Hashirama grinned, proudly.
