Sasuke's match only seemed to be the beginning of many others. Shino's match was right after. He was instead up against Zaku, and triumphed through the use of his bugs blocking the air holes of Zaku's palms. Next, was Kankura who also won with the use of his puppet, along with Sakura and Ino who drew, surprisingly enough.
Following up, was TenTen who was up against Temari, though the match seemed over just as soon as it started. Many more matches occurred from then on, which left only a handful of opponents remaining, as the competition was slimmed down far more significantly.

Maniko noticed that those who were yet to compete, varied from Naruto, himself, Gaara, Kiba, Lee and another opponent he had briefly familiarised himself with. He seemed to be on the same team as the ninja who Maniko had a.. not so nice interaction with. Maniko was surprised to even remember the blonde male's name. Kazuki Yamazaki. The more he thought about it, the more he came to realise that Kazuki seemed a lot nicer than the rest of his team. Not that it mattered in the end.
Once again, everyones eyes glued to the screen that flicked through the remaining names, only to eventually land on 'Naruto Uzumaki' and ' Kiba Inuzuka'
"YEAH! FINALLY, IT'S HERE! THE MOMENT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!" Naruto screamed immediately after seeing him name. He was equally as excited to impress Maniko as well as to actually fight someone. "CAN YOU SEE THAT, MANIKO?! IT LANDED ON ME!!" He squealed excitedly, latching onto the teal haired male.
"Do your best, Naruto!" Maniko grinned, holding a thumbs up to his teammate.
"Look at that, Akamaru.. It's us against Naruto! I think you and I just won the lottery!" Kiba spoke up, a smug grin on his face. Akamaru, who had been comfortably snuggled into Kiba's jacket, peeped his head out to bark in agreement.
Only once the both of them had made it down to the centre of the arena, Naruto continued to rant. I've been waiting forever for this! Sorry, Kiba. Don't take it personally if I blow you away." The blond teased.
