Everyone was silent. Either frozen in shock, shaking with fear, or both.
The only sound to be heard was the powerful swirls of purple Chakra that emitted from the Uchiha. He had a variety of dark marks that coated his body, making him look all the more terrifying.
"..."
"Who did it?" He asked no one in particular. And, although he already knew his answer, he still wanted confirmation before choosing his next cause of action.
Everyone stayed silent.
Zaku looked from left to right, realising no one was willing to take the fall for him. Who in their right state of mind would? He brushed off the feeling of fear that settled in the pit of his stomach before he spoke. "It was me!" He admitted with a smirk.
Immediately, Sasuke's crimson eyes flashed to Zaku, wide with rage and other emotions he couldn't quite control. The red eyed boy slowly turned his body to fully face the culprit, as the dark marks on his face spread even more.
'This changes everything..! His Chakra is too big.. Too powerful! We can't fight that..' Dosu thought.
"Dosu! What's wrong?! You're not getting cold feet, are you?" Zaku asked, preparing to fight as he looked back at him.
"No.. Zaku, you don't understand!-" The bandaged male started, but was cut off by his teammate.
Almost at the speed of light, Sasuke had suddenly appeared right behind Zaku. Blinking at the wrong time would've been enough to miss such speed.
Sasuke kicked him to the floor with both force and hatred, crouching down to grasp his arms. The bottom of the Uchihas leg rested flat on the sound ninja's back, threatening to push it even further forward, whilst the grip on both of his arms threatened to pull them even further back.
'Don't worry, Maniko.' Sasuke thought, pausing for a moment as Zaku struggled to free himself from the bone threatening position. 'I'll protect you, like how you protected me..' He promised, hoping the boy could hear him.
Zaku's eyes widened as he felt an overwhelming amount of discomfort in the joint of his arm.
Sasuke, without a care in the world, slowly pulled back on the males arm, a sadistic smile spread across his face. "You seem to be very proud of these arms of yours. You must feel very.. attached to them.."
