The group had found themselves at a club not far from the apartment building after spending several hours at a restaurant. Ellie sat at the other end of the table from Charles and Juliette, who were all over each other, not minding other people witnessing the PDA they were showing. Ellie tried her best to just tune it out. Instead she had Pierre and Marie in front of her, and Emma beside her. And neither of the girls could argue, Marie was simply amazing.

They spent the whole time laughing, and getting to know each other. Even Emma couldn't hide her clear liking off the girl. She was a model, like Emma, and spent a lot of time in New York, and knew many of the same people that Ellie did. Ellie couldn't possibly understand how this sweet girl she spent the day with was friends with Juliette, at least not if she was actually like how she was today.

Once they arrived the quickly found their way to a VIP table and scattered around. After a few hours Ellie found herself on the dance floor with Lando and Carlos, having the time of her life, when Charles and Juliette came painfully in her sight, straight beside them, making out.

"I'll just go get myself a drink, you guys want anything?" She shouted towards the two boys, who both looked beside them and then gave her a sympathetic look. She just shrugged, she didn't know it was that obvious she wanted to get away.

"We're good, we'll go back up to the table, just come there after." Lando said caressing her shoulder. As she was leaving she could see Charles and Juliette walking up with the two boys, suddenly her desire to go back vanished and she took a seat at the bar.

"A dirty martini please." She told the bartender who nodded. When she looked around she could suddenly feel someone behind her.

"I thought you were in Europe." The voice sent shivers down her spine.

She turned around, and found her suspicion right. "What are you doing her Chase?" She asked with no emotion, feeling the color drain from her face as her ex's best friend was standing in front of her. Of course she had to encounter Chase Crawford right after having to see Charles all over Juliette.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were back, I just got back in town and haven't even been at the apartment, so I wouldn't have seen you there." He rambled, and suddenly she realized that the fear that he wasn't alone she got when she heard his voice was right.

"He's here, isn't he?" She asked, but she already knew the answer.

He just nodded, she felt sick. She hadn't seen him in months, and she hadn't actually thought about him either, but suddenly it all came creeping back like it happened yesterday. This night just couldn't get any better. When she met his eyes she could see there was more.

"He isn't here alone either I'm guessing by the look on your face." She simply stated, heartbreak evident in her voice.

"I'm so, so sorry. He wants to talk to you, please, just give me five minutes and I'll get him over here, ALONE, so that you can talk. Please. Ellie he loves you, please just give me a second to get him" He pleaded with her, but Chase knew her, and the look on her face clearly said she wasn't ready, at least not in a club when she had been drinking.

"Chase, I can't. I'll talk to him eventually but right now, I can't. He broke me, and I don't want the first time I talk to him again be while he's here with someone else." She said as she could feel tears threatening to spill.

Suddenly she could see him clear as day. There he was, and now she felt like she was dreaming, surely this had to be a nightmare. He was here, with the girl he cheated on her with.

She just stood up from her seat leaving Chase before he could say anything else, frantically looking for anyone she knew, she needed someone with her, before she breaking down, and she needed to make sure George and Lewis didn't see him before she could tell them to not do anything.
