The next morning, Ellie woke up early and decided to take a run along the marina before meeting up with her friends for the yacht party. As she walked, she heard someone calling her name. Turning around, she saw Mason jogging towards her.
"Mase, hey," Ellie greeted him with a smile.
"I thought that was you," Mason said, catching his breath. "What are you doing up so early?"
"Just needed some fresh air," Ellie replied. "What about you?"
"I wanted to go for a run before the yacht party," Mason said, grinning. "It's going to be a long day, might as well burn some calories now."
Ellie laughed. "Great minds think alike." She said as her phone began to ring. It was Lewis, informing her that he and the others were on their way to pick them up for the yacht.
"Alright, we're ready," Ellie said, trying to sound enthusiastic.
They walked together towards up to the apartment, Ellie was glad to have Mason around, he always knew how to make her laugh and feel better.
As they got closer to the yacht, Ellie's phone buzzed. She checked it and saw a message from Marie.
"Hey, just wanted to let you know that Carlos invited me, Pierre and Charles along today. Hope that's okay."
Ellie's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Charles. She didn't know how to feel about it, but she didn't want to ruin the party for everyone else. She replied to Marie, "No problem, see you soon."
As they made their way to the yacht, Ellie tried to focus on the excitement of spending time with her friends. She knew it was going to be a great time, but she couldn't help feeling a little sad about not having Sebastian by her side anymore, and a little uneasy about the fact that Charles and Pierre were joining them.
It was a beautiful summer day with clear skies and warm waters, perfect for a day out on the yacht. As they boarded the yacht, Ellie was greeted by the sight of her friends, all smiles and laughter.
Ellie saw Charles standing at the bar, talking to Carlos and Pierre. He looked up and saw her, he barely acknowledged her presence. Ellie tried to ignore him, but his icy demeanor was hard to miss. She decided to just act normal and enjoy the day with her friends.
As they set sail, they enjoyed a delicious breakfast and chatted excitedly about their plans for the day. Some of them wanted to sunbathe on the deck, while others were eager to go waterskiing or snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters.
As the yacht sailed along the beautiful coastline of Monaco, Ellie, Emma, Lando and Mason sat on the deck, enjoying the sun and the stunning views. They chatted and laughed, with Ellie forgetting about all her worries and just enjoying the moment.
The yacht had all the amenities they could ever want, including a well-stocked bar, comfortable lounges, and an expansive deck for soaking up the sun. As they sailed along the coast, they spotted schools of fish, dolphins, and even a few sea turtles.
It was moments like these that made Ellie grateful for her friends and family. They were always there for her, through thick and thin, and she knew she could count on them no matter what.
As the yacht pulled up to a secluded cove, the group got ready to jump off the yacht and swim in the clear blue water. Ellie felt a rush of excitement as she took a running jump off the deck, feeling the cool water wash over her.
As she swam towards the others, she felt someone close to her. She turned around and saw Charles, his dark eyes staring into hers.
"Hey," he said, a hint of a smile on his lips. "Hi," Ellie replied, feeling a little flustered.
