Ellie was standing at the bar with Will laughing about his wedding. "Omg, him and Chase were so drunk, I swear Seb still doesn't remember anything after dinner." She said in between laughs, a real smile on her face remembering the good times.
"I can't believe that was the first time you met all of us. Seb and Chase were suppose to keep you from drinking the nerves away." He answered laughing just as hard at the memories they made that night, that was the start of her just fitting perfectly in their group.
"I know, do you remember when Seb called at like four in the morning because he was alone in our room with Chase, while we were still out in some club with Ethan, Maria and Julie?"
"I swear I've never heard him that terrified, ever!" They laughed, tears threatening to spill.
"I was just glad some of you old folks can still keep up." She said with a smirk.
"Hey! We were just glad we didn't have to babysit the 22 year old." He sniped back, mirroring her smirk, which earned him a laugh and a playful slap in the arm.
The two fell in too a comfortable silence after, before Will decided to speak up. "We're still doing his 40th the way you planned it, and even if you don't want to come, he'll know it was your doing." He put his arm on her shoulder, giving it a comforting squeeze.
She sighed, reminiscing about Will and Alissas wedding would of course result in talking about Sebastian's 40th. She had arranged for all of his friends to join them there for a week, with a number of surprises she had arranged. She knew he would love it, and thinking about it put a smile on her face, until she remembered why she wouldn't be there for it anymore. She missed him, a lot, but she wasn't ready to talk to him just yet. But she couldn't figure out if it's because she's not ready to forgive him, or let him go.
"He's going to love it." She stated, but before he could press the matter she continued, "I can't believe your actually gonna be a dad." She gushed.
"I know, it's crazy. We just told the guys last week." He said with a smile.
"I'm so going to rub it in everyone's face that I was the first to know." She stated happy with herself, as she was there when Alissa took the test. Out of everyone in Sebastians friend group, she was closes to Wills wife Alissa. She became somewhat of an older sister, and was there for her every step of the way even after everything fell apart.
"I can't believe my child is going to have you as a godmother, I mean if something happens to us the kids doomed." He joked, knowing his child couldn't have gotten luckier, she was going to spoil that kid rotten and everyone knew it.
"Hey, I'm going to be the sane one of the godparents, no matter who of the guys you end up choosing." She joked back. He just nodded and took a sip of his drink. "You choose him right?" She asked, which he nodded again but this time with a worried expression.
"Don't worry about it. I figured as soon as I knew Alissa was pregnant." She said with a reassuring smile. No matter how mad and hurt she was, she would never put his friends in a position where they would be uncomfortable with their happiness because of them.
On the other side of the venue Lewis and George were observing the two at bar. "You think she's going to take him back?" George asked his teammate, a little worried, he always supported Ellie, but never really liked her boyfriend.
"I don't know man. I think it's a matter of time before they make up, because no matter what he's still an important person to her, but her trusting him enough to get back with him, I don't think so." Lewis said patting Georges shoulder, knowing he was worried about loosing her if she got back with Sebastian.
