It was dark again and you kept your eyes open to your surroundings. It didn't help that Sukuna was around you, being all grumpy and mopey or whatever.

You lean into your hand as you slowly glance up to the stars. It reminded you of the moments when you and Yuji would watch the stars. The way you two would joke around and laugh then fall into a comfortable silence. Before everything went to shit.

Your thoughts were interrupted when a large body lay next to you. You look down to see a massive dead fish next to you, with Sukuna dragging it by its tail. He eventually sat down, a bit away from you, and pulled the fish up towards him. Casually dug into it, despite it being raw and underprepared.

"Ugh," you said in disgust. "You're not even going to cook that?"

"With what fire?" Sukuna asked as he glanced at the unlit campfire. You shrugged your shoulders and sighed. "Maybe you could click your nails together and spark one," you muttered, annoyed.

"That's not how that works, idiot," Sukuna grumbled as he munched on the fish. You feel nauseous from watching him eat a raw fish, even scooting away from him. "Could've fooled me, you're not human and I don't know all the tricks you have up your sleeves," you said, looking to the side.

"At least I'm not the one starving," Sukuna retorted. On cue, your stomach grumbled out for food. "I'm not starving," you comment, gripping your stomach. You didn't want to admit that you were hungry, plus you went without food before it would be fine.

It did not help that the sounds of Sukuna eating are making you hungrier. Almost as if your stomach is jealous.

You tried to think of anything to get those nasty chewing sounds out of your ears. 'Think of something positive, think of....think of...'

Flashes of memories of your old friends pop up in your mind. It was on instinct, seeing Yuji's bright smile, and Nobara's big smile as she leaned against Megumi. Megumi would look annoyed but he would always have that soft look in his eyes.

And Gojo, freaking Gojo would somehow hug all four of you and take you to wild curse-chasing games. It was weird, but it was full of happy memories.

Instead of getting rid of that hunger, it makes you sad and depressed. But it's what you put yourself in, to get rid of Sukuna. To trap him here and stop him once and for all so he couldn't hurt people again. It was just always a bitter pill to swallow.
