"Nanamin."

Nanami glanced at Yuji who was sitting on a bench outside. Nanami came out to get some fresh air as he was getting hounded by the higher-ups for information. Not to mention they wonder where Nanami's loyalty lies, seeing as he is a curse now. What He's actually thankful for is that the human side of him is intact. He has no idea what he would be if he lost his mind.

But no matter, he would rather be dead than to be...this. His skin is a sickly tone and he always feels cold, never warm or hot.

"Yes, Itadori-kun?" Nanami asked. Yuji grips a cup tightly as his gaze is on the ground. "Do you think....there was a way for all of us to be happy?" Yuji asked, his words barely audible. Confused, Nanami frowns a bit. What was Yuji asking?

"What do you mean Yuji?"

Yuji reaches into his hood and pulls out a journal. "One of Y/N's journals," he mutters, holding it out to Nanamin. "It seems like we were all doomed to die or live with some of us dying. Or have horrible fates, it's depressing." Yuji hands out the journal to Nanami and for once Kento hesitates.

It feels like he's going to open Pandora's box if he opens your journal. Yet the questions and looks Yuji gives him make Nanami relent. He reached out and took the journal from Yuji. Just holding the journal felt like it weighed a ton.

"It seems like you were very hard to save," Yuji mumbles as he stands up, having this gloomy expression on his face. It hurt Nanami to see Yuji like this. It constantly reminded Nanami how Yuji was a happy, excited, and full of hope, 15-year-old who was ready to save everyone. To now a 20-year-old, who looks dead on the inside and lost all hope and meaning in the world. Yuji even lost that spark in his eyes when he first joined Jujutsu Tech.

It's a reminder that Nanami failed to protect him and his friends.

A reminder that he failed to protect you. "You should read it, it...gives a new perspective of her mind...ish," Yuji added the last part as he waved his hand a little. Kento stares at the journal and wonders what is inside of it. But he's not sure if he's ready to read it.

All he can think about are his last words to you, words he regrets saying very much.
