After finishing your shower, you leave the bathroom and dry your hair with a towel. And unsurprisingly Sukuna was waiting for you outside of the bathroom. "Shower's free," you tell him as you ruffle the towel through your hair. "And hopefully my potential spectators had the decency to look away while I showered."

"You took a while in there, what were you doing in there?" Sukuna asked impatiently. "Uh cleaning myself," you said, deadpanning at him. You walk past him to head to one of the bedrooms. Sukuna stands there, watching you as he feels you're shutting him out. He saw you cry over those children in the orb and you haven't mentioned them to him at all.

Sukuna let out a sigh and headed into the shower. He needs to freshen up to freshen his mind to deal with you. As you enter a bedroom you froze when you see a familiar bottle of wine on the nightstand. You glance around the room, expecting Sukuna to pop up and take the bottle from you. Yet he didn't and your gaze slowly goes to the bottle.

Just one sip wouldn't hurt.

You open it, take a sip, and then pull the bottle away from you. You can still hear the children's laughter which makes your heart twist in pain. Without a second thought, you drank some more and then more.

"What the hell are you doing?"

You lift your head to see Sukuna looking angry as you sit on the floor, leaning against the wall. "Wallowing in my misery," you mumbled. Around you are three bottles of wine, completely empty.

"I swear..." Sukuna grumbled as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Am I really not that trustworthy that you chose alcohol over talking to me?" He asked, looking offended and disappointed. Sukuna walks over and sits beside you, taking an empty bottle. "It's not that I don't trust you Sukuna, I don't understand why you keep thinking that," your words slur, but you did your best to speak clearly. "I just didn't want to hear their laughter for a moment."

"What are you talking about?" Sukuna asked, a bit confused.

You pointed your thumb behind you as if that was the correct direction and said, "My children's laughter." You lean forward a bit, playing with your hands as you correct yourself. "Or...what would be my children's laughter."

"Your children?" Sukuna muttered, then remembered the scene in the tree, instantly putting two and two together. "You mean those children from the orb, right? Do you want to talk about it?" Sukuna asked as he moved closer to you. You rub the back of your neck and smile bitterly.
