Racing down the halls, Yuji desperately searched for Nobara and Megumi. He jumped over a fallen beam and large boulders, parkouring over the open spaces in the wooden floorboards. There's no telling where Yuji would go if he fell in. "Nobara! Megumi!" Yuji yelled, trying to find them.
"Yuji?!"
Yuji stops in his steps and heads to where he hears Nobara call his name. "Nobara keeps screaming my name, I'm almost there!" Yuji followed her voice and he finally found her. She was gazing through a door that had been blocked off by heavy rubble, but he could see her brown eyes. "Nobara!" Yuji exclaimed with a happy, relieved smile.
"You big idiot, what did you do?!" Nobara exclaimed glaring at him.
"I didn't do anything!" Yuji replied, looking dumbfounded.
"Then what was that explosion? You know what never mind, just get us out of here." Yuji looks at the rubble and begins lifting the heavy materials and throwing them to the side. "Where's Megumi?"
"He's in here with me, but he got clobbered in the head from a falling rock," Nobara explains as the blockage is getting removed.
"Again?!" Yuji exclaimed in disbelief. Why was Megumi always getting hit in the head?
"Yes again, I swear that guy has some kind of sign that says, 'Hit here' on his forehead," She grumbles. When Yuji finally made an opening, he went into the room and found Megumi slouched against the wall, bleeding on the side of his of temple. Yuji knelt in front of him and immediately grabbed his arm, turning around so he could carry Megumi on his back.
"Okay, we need to leave now before this place crushes us," Yuji told her as he walked past her to exit the room.
"No need to tell me twice."
As they travel down the hall, Megumi groaning on Yuji's back in pain, Nobara couldn't help but wonder. "Did Sukuna really break free?" She asked Yuji. "I only remember an explosion and this place collapsing and-"
"Yeah he's free along with Y/N," Yuji said, adjusting Megumi on his back.
Nobara frowns and wishes she found you. She had a series of questions, but the one thing she wanted to do was knock you upside the head with her hammer first.
